      So glad I went to DirecTV a few years back. Cablevision is awful.

          What are you doing with cable if FiOS is available anyway? I'm still waiting for them to decide to actually turn Uverse service on for my area.

              FIOS just became available in my area a couple of month's ago.

                  I feel bad for Cablevision owners.

                  At the same time, wait until you get that second year bill from FIOS. That's always nice surprise.

                  I'm ok with TimeWarner and their issues.

                      Right now I'm locked-in for 2 years @ $154.00 for exactly what I was getting with cablevision. Saving me $75.00 bucks monthly. After the promotion is up my bill will almost be the same as it was with cablevision monthly $225 & from everything I hear FIOS service is great.

                      We'll see how it goes. I have 30 days to cancel if necessary

                          No, FIOS is certainly stellar I just feel their prices are ridiculous. If that is how much you are paying then yeah, def. switch.

                                      What is Fox's deal? Pulling channels from Cablevision, Dish Network's been without FX and FSN Regional channels for a couple weeks with the looming possibility of them pulling their locals at the end of the month.

                                                          Ah, very true. I forgot about the NBA. Since we don't have a team here in KC or anywhere close, we don't get anything on the FS networks. But do those three shows and sports demand double the price?
