That`s freaking crazy. I am all about saving money and looking for good deals but to hell with camping out for a sale.

One year, people near the front of the line set up a tent. Come time for giving out the tickets for the doorbusters nobody came out. They fell asleep and NOBODY shook the tent to wake them up. I almost felt bad for them...ALMOST.

That same year, one dude made some money on the side. Brought his grill and sold 2 hotdogs and hot chocolate for $5. If you were hungry, you had no other options. Unless somebody brought you food, there was no way you could leave the line and give up your spot.

Some solid research could really help people out. You're still going to have to wait in line, but chances are everyone is going for what is in the Wal Mart ad, but if they carry some of the same inventory as Best Buy or Target, etc. you could possibly walk in and grab your items unobstructed...as long as everyone else isn't keen to the idea.

I thought I was hardcore back in the day waiting in line at 7PM til the open in the morning. These people have been in line since LAST WEDNESDAY.

At least they got a pair of iPads out of it. Not sure whether to laugh or shake my head.

Does anyone know if there's a discounted price for the Harmony One universal remote control anywhere? At least, cheaper than Amazon's listed $150 price tag?

When I lived in Indiana, people use to park their RV's in Walmart parking lot on Tuesday and wait there for Black Friday.

                      Two questions:

Is the Toys R Us Buy 1 Get 1 $5 online too, or just in store?

And is the $130 psp deal online anywhere?

I second that ... having just told my girlfriend I "need nothing," I could definitely use that remote to make my life easier!!

Adice - if the PSP is $130 online, I'd be tempted to with the GOW and MGS games getting such great reviews.

                        Interested in both of these.

Not that one, but the Harmony 650 will be on sale for $50 at Bestbuy.

Amazon's next lightning deal teases, "A great companion for your home audio and video purchases." A remote maybe?

Okay, so would the 650 be sufficient for a Samsung LCD, set-top-box, a Sony Blu-ray player, a Roku box, and maybe even an Xbox 360 (and a potential HT system in the future)?

This is for my sister and her fianceé as a wedding gift. I'm sitting in front of this stuff right now and they have four remote controls (and obviously a 360 controller). I want to ease things for them a little bit. Hell, I could use one for my equipment as well.
