Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread

Monoprice has a mount for 32" - 50" tvs and is mentioned as "corner friendly". $35.49 plus shipping. http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2

Only caveat being that it's only compatible with standard 16" on center stud spacing and certain LG, Pioneer and Sharp TV don't fit (guessing the hole placements).

Most of the mounts on monoprice range from $25-70, just depends on your particular needs.Comment

Same one I linked to further up I should have clarified that I meant to go with monoprice and not best buys outrageous crap in that last post. I should have clarified that I meant to go with monoprice and not best buys outrageous crap in that last post.

He knows what he is talking about, if you buy a mount from them it will cost you $250 lol.

It should fit in there fine. I turn my to 45* all the time when I do p90x. The mount is about 3 feet from my door on the same wall and I turn the TV so I can see it while I am standing on my pullup bar. I'd take a pic, but won't be back home for over a week.Last edited by SuperBowlNachos; 03-10-2012, 03:47 PM.Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread

The more I use my LG 55" LED 3D TV the more I love it. I've got all the setting locked in now for my various inputs. I love the fact it's 1 1/4" in depth and so light. Looks great in low or high light scenarios.

3D works great, only downside is there's a real lack of 3D content, which is ok, since we didn't even realize it was a 3D TV when we bought it.

I've now got 3 LG's in my house (2 LCD's and 1 LED) and I believe their picture is as good as any out there, and their bang for the buck ratio is outstanding.Comment

I have a LG 22" LCD Monitor that I got almost four years ago. I would buy the exact one for the rest of time if I could.Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread

LG does a great job of giving you a tv with very good PQ and tons of features for a reasonable price. Have 2 LG products, plasma TV and networked blu ray player, and they have been champs.

 Great minds think alike. Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread

Read every review you can on it! I went with Panasonic over that just solely on price. The LG had a much "sleeker" look to it

I had posted it earlier. It's not the exact same TV, but specs seem so be the same. I guess a 2011 model? It will be $811 after tax, but it may be worth the extra $10 and going with an older model for the convenience of being able to take it back to the store in case you have a problem with it.Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread

I'd go with the 2012 model--pricing being essentially equal. Amazon has one of the best online tv return policies. It's 30 days just like BB. Just print out the return label and drop it off.http://www.bestbuy.com/site/LG+-+50&...8YGObMq18EQBj2
