I like the TV the few hours that I've had it and need to adjust the settings..........but, how do you guys like the 120hz option? I am trying to get used to the whole (soap opera effect)......really miss the film like image.

This is the newer model replacing the 670 in the series that I was going to get. The guy at BB was telling me the 670 is on clearance with this model replacing it. Funny thing is that this was cheaper by $100 over that model......I guess the 670 is internet capable and has 150,000:1 contrast ratio vs. this one at 120,000:1. Does the difference in contrast ratio matter and I don't really care about the internet apps.

The 670 is the highest end model Samsung you can get, it's actually a best buy exclusive. The 600 model is definitely a lower model than the 670.

Anyone have any opinions on this 50" 1080p Panasonic Plasma for $799? They say it's a sale price, but I wonder if it will really go back up. Planning on buying a plasma as my basement tv (where I will mostly watch my sports and play video games).

If you don't care about having a USB Input or a PC Input, then this is a good deal..

Every TV at Best BUy is always "on sale". That's why you can never use coupons on them.

Right. Only difference I see is the apps, 30,000:1 more contrast ratio, and an extra USB port. Does the 30k more contrast ratio make a difference? The 670 uses the same aa02 panel that I have with the 600 as I read on avs.

I don't really know. I bought the 670 model just because it looked better to me. The apps are pretty useful for us as well.

That was the big dilemma between the 3 models when we were looking. Spend an extra $200-300 for the apps and 30,000:1 more contrast ratio for the 670. The 630 is $100 more than the one I have with no noticeable difference. This stuff is such a pain sometimes with all the models for one line.

I agree, it's definitely overwhelming and a bit silly IMO.

Totally agree. The contrast ratio differences in each increment to have so many models is over the top IMO. Almost like a panel did not pass a certain contrast spec so it falls in this line here.

My LG 120hz LED TV came in last night and I'm having a minor issues with the TruMotion setting. Anyone have any experience with LG's TruMotion settings?

Are you watching regular tv or gaming? I usually leave it off.

Gaming. Last night when I played 2K I didn't notice anything off with it at low. Today while playing PES I noticed some weird artifacts and blur. Popped in 2K and on occasion saw the same thing. I assume it is best to leave this feature off for gaming? In COD I saw nothing different with it on or off.

When gaming, it is always better to turn of any processing features as it adds LAG to the signal.

I just bought the Samsung LED 23" monitor. This is one of the baddest monitors I have ever seen.

This will be my display for COD and The Show 11

All timing based games will be on the monitor and all others on my big screen Samsung
