The 65-inch C1 is really tempting.

C2 is brighter. C2 is basically the same brightness level of what the G1 was last year.Comment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
I have the C1. And obviously would love the C2. But at the price difference, you would never know the difference unless you were looking at both at the same time. So not sure it's worth the extra money when the C1 is so cheap right now. And such a great TV in and of itself.

Right now, at least on BB, it’s a $300 difference for the 65”. I’d take that.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
I probably upgrade every 10 years. I have an LG LCD that was mid-range when I got it in 2016. I think it looks good and I'm happy with it. My only real issue with it is that HDR in Game mode is terrible, so I have to turn HDR off for the PS5.
I know the C1 would be a big upgrade, especially since I also plan to go from the 55 I have now to a 65. So tempting to go ahead and pull the trigger.
But I'm also tempted to wait a bit longer. If the C1 sells out, then I may start looking at the C2.Comment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
Some years ago I didn't had any money so when my 50 inch Panasonic Plasma broke I fixed it myself (so proud of myself :P), now I have a little bit of money but I won't buy a new TV until my Plasma goes out once and for all. Problem is I don't know when that's going to be. A month from now? A year? 10 years?OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
The 48" C1 was available for me for like 5 minutes this morning lol. I'm still waiting because it was $100 cheaper during the July sales. So, I want to see if it gets cheaper next month. If not, it's not likely to go up, so it'll be just waiting for it to become available. Will alao see if the 55" goes on sale, if that does I will go for that oneComment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
Ok, so I have given myself a 12 month/18 month time-frame to research and acquire (I can't say it out loud yet)Spoilermy new TV,
Is this thing about burn-in images with OLED technology real? Is the RDR2 map in danger of permanently living on my screen? What about that CNN logo?OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
OLED screen burn in very rarely happens nowadays. They all have pixel shift technology now, so the image isn't really static.Comment
