Yea, I'm not sure who got it. Maybe only the east coast? I wasn't paying attention so I can't confirm.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

I watched one of the episodes tonight since it came on at a weird time with my DVR and it was quite funny. Will check FOX on demand tomorrow to see if they added these on there to check out.

Well tonight was the premiere so I dont think you'll see it on there outside of the two episodes tonight that they sandwiched Family Guy in between.

Yes, it was pleasantly better than The Cleveland Show, and while American Dad still has the longevity edge, it's nice to see something that's not Seth MacFarlane related during the 9:00 hour.

Plus, it's Napoleon Dynamite. What more could you ask for?

I thoroughly enjoyed the show as I'm a fan of the movie. They did a wonderful job potraying the characters and all of their sillyness. I think after 3 or 4 failed attempts at finding a show to fill inbetween the Simpsons and FG, I think Fox may have a hit on their hands. If you're familiar with the movie and its humor, then this show is for you IMO.

I thought the movie was terrible. This was actually watchable and better than Allen Gregory which it replaced. Bob's Burger is still going to replace this in March as they only ordered 6 episodes. They also showed them out of order, starting with 4, 3, and 1 next week.

I'm a big fan of the movie. After watching the first two episodes, I'm a fan of the animated series. Having the actors from the movie doing the voices for the animated series makes it watchable, imo. I don't know if I'd watch if someone else was doing Napoleon's voice other than Heder.

I still haven't seen this show.

But here is something: There's a bus station close to where I live and someone sticked a life-size B/W Napoleon Dynamite cutout on the shield. Don't know if it's some kind of advertising or something, but it's just sticked there with no text.

I've now watched both episodes and really like this show from the animation to how well it brings the film to the animated world.

Looks like I'll have to check this out. I loved the movie but figured the show would be awful, so I didn't even bother to watch any of it

Haven't seen the movie but the show was ok. It might only be ok in comparison to replacing Allen Gregory though. I can't even comprehend a show being worse than that.

I guess we are supposed to ignore the fact that Kip & Lawfanduh got married in the movie. Since the wedding happened after the ending credits are the writers just going to forget it happened?
