I am hoping that the thrown challenge to get Russell out still comes to bite someone in the ***. Also hoping Philip makes it, just to see what his statement to the jury is. I've said all along this guy is probably a genius. You can't be that dumb and make it through so many years of military and whatever agency he is in.

When all the loved ones came back to camp I was hoping for Phillip's sister to say something like this:

"Secret agent? Phillip stocks shelves at Target!"

Rob was dumb. He had to split the 2 girls then and he didn't do it. Then he would have had separated all pairs and it would be hard for them to vote against his wishes. Now he is only safe, but can't control the votes. Maybe it will actually be interesting next week. The 2 girls have done nothing that Rob didn't tell them first, maybe they are finally going to have an original thought.

At this point, I'm going to be disappointed if Rob doesn't win.

Outside of maybe Hatch in Season 1, he's played the best game in Survivor history. He hasn't made one bad move yet. I know the critics will point out he looks good because its his 4th time playing and everybody else are idiots but I don't think that's a fair knock against him. Every single player knew Rob was a dangerous player from the moment he landed on the beach and he still hasn't been voted out yet. He's also made people in his alliance feel comfortable with him.

I did roll my eyes when Rob mentioned about how he's there to make a better life for his family. Outside of Elisabeth Hassleback and Jimmy Johnson (and also maybe Sandra and Russell), Romber has the most money out of any Survivor contestant. They've made a career out of appearing on Survivor and then branching out to other shows and doing paid appearances. Off the top of my head:

Rob has been on Survivor 4 times
Amber has been on Survivor 2 times
Romber has been on The Amazing Race twice
Romber had a really expensive wedding paid for by CBS
Rob worked on the Early Show for CBS
Rob had a reality show where he was a poker player and some type of ghost hunter
Rob also has a travelling show that is going to air later this year or next year
Rob also gets paid to promote products around North America

Thanks to their big break on Survivor, they've probably made at least 2-3 million so far.

If Rob makes it to the final 3, the other players should bring up the fact he doesn't need the money.

I hate this argument, it shouldnt matter if they need the money if they played the best game and deserve to win it.

Oh I agree. In my perfect world, the person who played the best game should always win. Too bad this doesn't always happen.

I still think it's a shame Russell didn't win in his first season. Members in the jury basically admitted they didn't vote for Natalie because she played the best game, they voted for her so they didn't have to vote for Russell.

If Matt makes it to the final 3, I have a bad feeling he's going to win. If the final 3 is Boston Rob, Phillip, and Natalie, I could picture Natalie winning if the jury is stupid.

At this point, there isn't a valid argument for anybody to win but Boston Rob. He has controlled the game from Day 1 and basically has decided who gets the boot week after week.

If Matt makes it to the final 3, I have a bad feeling he's going to win.

If he joins the game before the final 3 or competes against and beats Rob, then he should win. He has no social game, but to be alone for most of the time and having to win to stay, he will have earned it.

In my world, anybody that gets voted out has no business winning. Matt's social game is so bad, he got booted twice.

Survivor has always been a social game and with Matt spending the majority of his time on RI, he hasn't been involved in this area.

Frankly, RI has to go. Sadly Probst said it would probably return in his video blog.

I couldnt possibly agree more, I cant stand this redemption island idea and wish it would go away asap. The thought that a guy can get voted off twice and still win the entire thing is ridiculous to me for all the reasons you mentioned.

If they have it they need to do it once and make them come back at the time of a merge. It was a good concept when I thought Russell might make it all the way back after being voted out.

I liked the idea of RI when the season started but, now I hate it. I wouldn't have minded it so much if they ended it at the merge but, keeping it going this far is a little silly, IMO.

Rob has such a grip on the game the producers don't even bother teasing us if he needs to use the HII or not.

Assuming Rob wins, this is going to be a tough season to rank. I've enjoyed watching Rob walk all over his competition and Phillip being crazy but there has been a serious lack of surprises and the RI gimmick is awful.

Just when I thought it would be an interesting vote. They don't even show any talk of voting for Rob because these guys are so afraid of him. Ashley should have gone to Grant and Phillip. Phillip could had confirmed that he was told to vote for Grant and Grant would know it was true.

I think the next tribal council is the last time the HII can be used, so I'm pretty confident Boston Rob makes it to the Final 4.
