I think Rob should have voted Natalie out because he could explain to her by saying that "it was supposed to be Ashley but she won the challenge and the guys (Grant and Phillip) are INSISTING we split you two up, so my hands are tied", etc...

She'd buy it and still vote for Rob as a jury member...

Grant, on the other hand, could easily win his way back into the game and have a grudge...

Anyway you look at it, it should be an entertaining final...

I'm rooting for Phillip to put a really wacky plot twist into this thing as well...

I think the next tribal council is the last time the HII can be used, so I'm pretty confident Boston Rob makes it to the Final 4.

That's correct. Probst said the next tribal is the last time Rob can use it. All 7 people left would take Phillip to the final 3 so I can't wait to hear his speech. You can also mark me down as a person that thinks Ralph is going to be a bitter jury member.

I'll make a prediction that Russell gets more airtime on the reunion show than the majority of the 8 people that are left.

Boston Rob should be a lot richer by tonight after he wins the million dollars and wins the Sprint fan favorite prize. If Rob doesn't win, I would crack up if he pulls a Russel and goes on a rant about how the game is flawed.

Voting out Grant was the best move because he's the biggest threat to win the challenges and beat Rob in the final 3. Also by saying his hands were tied, that's basically admitting he wasn't in control of that vote. Rob is better off getting rid of his biggest threat while being able to tell the jury he basically controlled every vote from Day 1. IMO Rob has played a flawless game so far. I've agreed with all of his moves.

Ashley is a ****ing moron. I knew Natalie wouldn't vote for him, but wow, how dumb can she be? Not that it would have mattered.

No problem with the winner this year. Ashley explained something in the reunion show that definitely shed some light on the votes of those last few days, they should have made a move a lot earlier though.

Yeah, we viewers didn't know (well, I sure didn't know) that the girls knew about the II, so that explained all those moves (and non moves), as far as I'm concerned...

Most interesting part to me was the lawyer, who chose to use his questions to the final three to make a plea for the strength, savvy and completeness of Rob's game...

He did mouth "genius" when Matt got the second blindside, so he's a been fan of Rob's...

Between that and the proposal, I think that guy is making a good case for his return on an upcoming season...

Bummed that Philip's "revelation" didn't amount to as much as I'd hoped...

THAT guy is "reality gold" (IMHO)...hope he makes the rounds...

I also want Philip to make it to the final 3 so he can reveal whether or not he really is crazy or just all an act.

Either he's crazy, stupid or he knew he had no chance to win.

I thought he'd try to convince the jury that his craziness was a master plan. Instead he basically told most of the jury members: FU!

I'm soooo glad that Boston Rob won. He's probably my favorite Survivor ever so it was nice to see him "get his".

Some quick thoughts: During the final tribal I really thought Phillip was going to admit that "playing the heel" was his strategy. Instead he waited until the reunion show
I felt bad for poor Natalie. She's a sweet girl and all but, she never had a chance. Honestly, Phillip and Nat sounded like they were playing for second place with most of their answers. The way Nat kept looking at Rob was like she was seeking approval or something. I spent most of the final tribal "face palming". Also, I'm surprised that most of the jury was as bitter as they were. The final three actually played a really clean game up until the final 5 or so. Therefore, I'm not sure where all of the talk about backstabbing and lying came from. IMO, the last three voted off are the only ones who should have been pissed. Everyone else who called them backstabber's and liars were just upset because they stayed loyal.

Some smaller things I noticed was that they didn't have a recap episode this season and they didn't waste time on the finale going through and talking about everyone that had been voted off. Which I thought was great. All and all, I enjoyed this season. RI didn't quite live up to the hype that I thought it was going to but, I can live with it for another season. Hopefully, it doesn't stick around for good though.

I doubt it, he even mentioned that in the finale. I think he still could have made friendships in that tribe and lasted longer than Russell but I think they would have made a move to get him out by the merge.

I wonder who the two former contestants coming back next season are going to be. I think Mike from this season will be one of them.

I'm going to jump all over the place here:

- Congrats to the Robfather on a flawless game. He has passed Russel as my favorite player of all-time. He didn't make a single mistake in the game

- Why did Ralph vote for "Phile"?

- The marriage proposal from David was awkward. It was like she wanted to say no but she couldn't because she was on live TV. I'm a Survivor Junkie and I had no idea she was a former cast member.

- Andrea actually looked better at the reunion. Natalie's face looked fat and she was a lot more attractive on the Island.

- Grant needs to man up. It's puzzling why he's even "upset" at Rob beyong getting voted out.

- And the award for most bitter jury member goes to Julie. Her "parent" type comments towards the final 3 were stupid.

- lol at Phillip talking back to several jury members. I hate it when Jury members get on their high horse and sling insults at the final players.

- Rob's game was so good even Nat and Phillip were basically praising him during their speeches.

- This is the first time in Survivor history we didn't get the fallen comrades segment. We also didn't see the burning down of the camp and the closing statements during TC. I'm guessing this was just cut for time reasons.

- RI was a huge dud and I don't like the fact it's coming back next season. We are also going back to a previous location (Samoa) despite the fact they are calling it the South Pacific. I'm going to guess the 2 returning players will be Coach and Phillip.

- I hope we see better challenges next season. There's too many puzzles and I need to see more challenges involving water and anything that's really physical.

- Russell is coming back to TV.......... on a new show

- After thinking about it, I wouldn't put this season in the Top 5. Every vote after the merge was a snoozefest. The season also only produced one new memorable player in Phillip.

- Survivor is still going strong in the ratings. I'm starting to wonder if we will eventually get to Season 50.

I dont't know.

I think he would have been an early target but at the same time I don't think they would have thrown a challenge to get rid of him like they did to Russell. Rob's social skills are a lot better than Russell's.

On a post exit interview, Julie said they would have got rid of Rob but it's hard to say because it's a what if type of situation.

Maybe he knew Rob was going to get every other vote so he wanted to toss Phillip a bone since he was at least more deserving than Natalie.

I remember her. She was in the string of hot Latino chicks to get voted out early. But yeah that was awkward as hell.
