Re: Verizon killing new-every-two program
I dunno why everyone is trippin here. They are just saying they are not giving the $100 or $30 discount to the primary phone holder. So you will still be able to get a new upgraded phone for the same price at around $200.
Honestly, $100 is not enough to get off of verizon's network, especially that they are going to own everyone in the 4g market.Comment

Re: Verizon killing new-every-two program
I don't get the big deal.
I recently upgraded to a new phone, but with retailers like Amazon selling smartphones for like a penny during special promos, who really needs the NE2 discount anyways.
I got my Incredible for cheap and my bill is $70 a month. They've kept me happy with their service.Comment

Re: Verizon killing new-every-two program
Anyway, not really sure why people would jump ship over this. I haven't gone anywhere in the past 2-3 years and not had coverage. I usually forgot to mail in my rebates too haha.

Just left verizon for sprint. Verizon has better coverage but we have 2 lines with unlimited everything and I am saving $100 per month with Sprint.

This doesn't bother me that much. I have Verizon and will stay with them after they kill this program. I'm not that big into phones. My current phone is a cheap Samsung (I got it for free) that I use to txt and make phone calls. I'm eligible for the "new every 2" in April and will upgrade to the next cheapest thing I can find.

The Evo has only been out since June and still has one of the largest development communities around for Android devices.

Re: Verizon killing new-every-two program
I'm with Verizon and I have 2 lines with unlimited everything for $175 including tax. I just moved to Verizon in November. it's actually cheaper than what I was paying with T-Mobile. Not leaving anytime soon (because I'm locked in for 2 yrs)
