My interest has dropped because, like most multi season reality shows, they become less organic as the participants begin to "play" their character / role...

Same is true for shows like "Real World" and esp. "Bad Girls Club"...

First season or two, none of the participants knew the concept, and now...well, they all play various versions / combinations of previous cast members...

As far as these folks are concerned:

Snookie certainly seems to be "playing" Snookie (registered trademark version) as does "The Situation", etc...

As someone who's been to Europe many times and has experienced a lot of misconceptions regarding life over here, I'm not sure these are the best representatives of our "american experience"...

That being said, game on!

Should be "cringe-worthy" early and often...

That's about true, IMO... North Jersey and New York are only separated by the river. Same vibe and everything. Plus you got a lot of transplants who moved to Jersey but still work in NYC. I wouldn't say the same for Central and South Jersey. You got more folks down there that identify with Philadelphia.

This show is what is wrong with america. Talentless idiots who focus their energy towards pointless self destruction and sexual irresponsibility.

Reality TV makes me sick, and I can't believe people on here actually follow that trash. Everyone is entitled to their onw opinion, so I'll let it go, but c'mon seriously?

More people watch reality TV than the news.

Everyone is ignorant, un-informed, and has a delusional sense of privilege, but at least they will be tan while doing it.

More people watch reality TV than the news.

I would rather watch something that makes me laugh than something that makes me depressed.

I think they try to stop it, but it becomes a lost cause at the end.
