I thought they recorded these things a while ago and they are just appearing now. These ones might be different and were perhaps recorded very recently though. Otherwise they were more than likely recorded at the end of 2010.

          Says 2011 on my guide.

Depending on the load this can take, it's be cool to have this in a museum with terminals at every exhibit.

Very intriguing thus far. Jennings looked like he got ran over by a Mack truck when they went to the first break.

He's not used to being dominated like that.

I know syndication makes things difficult to liveblog, but dear lord, Watson is killin' them! "I'll take a guess:" I love that he said that. Just... awesome. The highly specific wagers are great too.

Watson is owning this thing so far. It's got about a $20,000 lead now.

One thing I may have a problem with is how fast Watson can hit the button. I wonder if that is an advantage that it has over its human opponents?

The computer's found all three daily doubles. I wonder if it has some sort of algorithm to pinpoint possible daily doubles or something. Maybe it's just dominating so hard and eventually stumbled on them.

LOL, how did Watson miss Final Jeopardy? I even got that one right. And to top it off, it answered "What is Toronto" when the topic was US CITIES.
