Official Lupe Fiasco L.A.S.E.R.S. Thread

[Streets]

There are a few albums that when they drop, are bigger than the official Hip-Hop thread. For me, and I know many here, this is one of them. I'm about to listen to it, but regardless of how it turns out, this is one of those urban legend albums that at times I thought I'd never see. With that said, discuss!

Yeah... I wouldn't say all that, but a lot like Eminem's recovery, there was a lot surrounding this album. Will it ever come out (like Detox), the protest, the pressures from the studio, Lupe admitting that he doesn't like the album, the supposed "pop" sound, and of course it's just a freakin' Lupe album.

Just my .02 but I don't see the need for a separate thread(just like I didn't see the need for the Eminem Thread either)when you can just keep everything in that one thread like we have with everything else that's dropped.

With that being said, I'll leave right now to avoid the mob that'll be coming for my head shortly. #Deuces

EDIT: Mind you I'm saying all of this while I'm currently DL'ing the album right now as well

I don't care either way, since we're all gonna discuss the album regardless. If a mod wants to merge this, that's fine. If not, it's fine too. I wanted the thread to discuss LASERS, not whether or not the album merits its own thread (which is the direction it went in), so do what you wish.

Album loses .5 point for me just because it's only 12 tracks(not including bonus tracks)
