Yeah, I'm going to have to let it all sink in before judging, but the 1st three track are great, but the next two are not nearly as good, and with only 12 tracks, you can't afford many slip ups. I am really shocked at the amount of autotune on here.

Track #4? Ehhh not a fan of. Has that ESPN-Y sound to it like they're going to use it for one of their cheesy promos like they did with Superstar.

4 and 5 are Lupe-styled "pop" songs. I like 5 better than 4, but I'll take both of them above 95% of the poppy-club kinda stuff that comes out. I agree though, that they're not up to the kinda standards Lupe usually has.

Beautiful Lasers makes up for those two, though. Awesome ****ing song.

Beautiful Lasers got this album back on track now.

Liked the Out of my Head as well but so far I Don't Wanna Care Right Now is the worst track on the album.

Like I thought the album is 6.5/10 on first listen. I know people around here are going to build it up to something its not.

Well, this album is underwhelming. 13 tracks, I liked maybe four of em': The Show Goes On, Words I Never Said, All Black Everything and State Run Radio is okay. Everything else is skip worthy after initial listen.

Maybe some other tracks will grow on me over time but right now my first impressions are that I can see why he isn't that fond of Lasers, it's just not very good. Someone on another site put it perfectly for me: It has no soul.

First go round and I Don't Wanna Care Right Now, The Show Goes On and Never Forget You are my least favorite tracks. Didn't really "catch" me like the others did.

1st lap-I'd give it a 6.5-7.0 because : A) Too Short and B)The 3 songs I mentioned.

Or other people "around here" might just like, or dislike, the album more than you do because they have different tastes?

Strange concept, I know.

I'd probably give it a 7.5 after first listen, losing most of the points from it being too short (which makes the songs I'm not as big of a fan of like I Don't Wanna Care Right Now more detrimental) , and a slight overuse of the autotuned artists in the chorus sections.

No its because Lupe is like NFL2k5 on this site. If you say anything bad about it , people get upset.

2nd lap-It's sound like a 7.0 may be the best for this album for me personally. The autotuning isn't really bothering me as much as it is others. It's just that it's too damn short and the 3 tracks I mentioned earlier are bringing it down for me. If this had like 14-15 tracks, it wouldn't be that much of an issue with me.

Question for ya'll: Am I the only one who judges an Album on "Travel Quality" or am I just ******* weird? LOL by that I mean, like with me I'm the type of person that travels ALOT(3-4+ Hr Road Trips) and if I can put an album on my Ipod and let it play from start to finish without skipping more than 3-4 tracks on it, then it has good Travel Quality. But if it something where I can only play like 3-4 tracks off it, then I don't play it unless my Ipod is on Shuffle.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who does that? LOL

I'm the same way, which is why I like The Cool so much. I could drive back and forth from Savannah to Alabama with that album playing both ways without skipping anything even now, it was that strong to me. Hell, I'm listening to it right now.

With this album I'd be skipping 60% of it. The whole time I was listening to it I was thinking about how I'd feel about it on a road trip.

Album is solid after the first listen, I only didn't care for 2 songs (One with Trey Songz and another one) Break the Chain is awesome
