I'm thinking maybe Lost or Terra Nova but I'm not real sure. Hell on Wheels is under consideration too. Maybe Heroes, but I don't usually care about superhero movies so I'm not sure I'd be into a series.

    Netflix is tossing names like:

    Alphas
    White Collar
    Luther
    Life on Mars
    Eureka
    The Event
    Survivors

Plus a bunch others and I have no idea where to begin or if the shows are even worth watching.
Terra Nova is only the one season. Life on Mars is really good, but I like the BBC version better and I am not sure if it is on Netflix. Eureka is a great show and a lot of fun as is Alphas. Have not watched the any of the other shows.

I second Luther. LOST would also be a good choice to provide a nice contrast to Mad Men.

          Please skip Tera Nova.

Show was so bad, any explaining of how bad it was would be a waste of my time.

            Thanks for the tips!

I ended up going with Eureka, although 2/3 through the 1st episode I'm leery it might be too family friendly for me. Too early to give up though.

Luther will be next in line, appreciate the input guys

I just started season 3 of Doctor Who. Such a creative show!

Anyone seen V/H/S? Creepiest movie I've seen in awhile.

How did you feel about Flash Forward ? I know it wasn't the best show out there, but I found it really entertaining and was disappointed that ABC killed it...

From your suggestions, White Collar is a pretty good show. Outside of Monday Night Raw, it's the only thing I ever watch on USA.

They just finished up Season 4 in 2012 and S5 will air in a week.

Been trying to get my wife to watch with me, but she's not having any part of it. May have to watch this weekend by myself.

Flash Forward was by far my favorite show at the time.

Nothing pissed me off more then when ABC cancelled it.

Really enjoyed it, I tried limiting myself to 1 episode at a time and it was difficult lol. The way the show ended made me want to hold ABC hostage and FORCE them to bring the show back for at least a conclusion, that was too enticing to just end.

I ended up shelving Eureka for now, it's just a little too "cute" for me, not sure how else to explain it. I'll pick it back up eventually because I like the concept.

As a replacement I went off my grid and started American Horror Story. I've only seen the pilot so far but Dylan McDermott reminds me a lot of Shane from the Walking Dead.

Just watch it the other night and just could not get into it. Seem to have a few force shock value moments, but I never pay enough attention to tie the 6 or 7 stories up together.

American Horror Story was really good. The GF and I just finished season 1, very good show!

                                Jessica Lange is amazing.
