Re: Netflix Movie Club
I'm caught up on Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead, I finished up FlashForward and Jericho. Just got Mad Men underway, but I want a second show to watch for awhile (watch 1 during the day and the other at night), any suggestions?
I'm thinking maybe Lost or Terra Nova but I'm not real sure. Hell on Wheels is under consideration too. Maybe Heroes, but I don't usually care about superhero movies so I'm not sure I'd be into a series.
Netflix is tossing names like:
Alphas
White Collar
Luther
Life on Mars
Eureka
The Event
Survivors
Plus a bunch others and I have no idea where to begin or if the shows are even worth watching.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football

Re: Netflix Movie Club
I second Luther. LOST would also be a good choice to provide a nice contrast to Mad Men.

Please skip Tera Nova.
Show was so bad, any explaining of how bad it was would be a waste of my time.Comment

Re: Netflix Movie Club
Thanks for the tips!
I ended up going with Eureka, although 2/3 through the 1st episode I'm leery it might be too family friendly for me. Too early to give up though.
Luther will be next in line, appreciate the input guysWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Netflix Movie Club
From your suggestions, White Collar is a pretty good show. Outside of Monday Night Raw, it's the only thing I ever watch on USA.
They just finished up Season 4 in 2012 and S5 will air in a week.Comment

Nothing pissed me off more then when ABC cancelled it.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Really enjoyed it, I tried limiting myself to 1 episode at a time and it was difficult lol. The way the show ended made me want to hold ABC hostage and FORCE them to bring the show back for at least a conclusion, that was too enticing to just end.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Netflix Movie Club
I ended up shelving Eureka for now, it's just a little too "cute" for me, not sure how else to explain it. I'll pick it back up eventually because I like the concept.
As a replacement I went off my grid and started American Horror Story. I've only seen the pilot so far but Dylan McDermott reminds me a lot of Shane from the Walking Dead.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Just watch it the other night and just could not get into it. Seem to have a few force shock value moments, but I never pay enough attention to tie the 6 or 7 stories up together.
