Realizing that yes, it's a movie and fiction, but I'm quite intrigued as to how they're gonna set up the Apes taking over the world angle. I can't wait, hopefully it's mindblowing.

I haven't been following this movie much but looking at the trailers this movie looks downright intriguing. I only have one question:

      The apes don't talk right?

Sure doesn't seem like it which makes it more intriguing.

My friends aren't too interested in this but I sure am.

I haven't heard them talking in the trailers, but I think Caesar at least understands and I wouldn't be surprised if they ended the movie with him talking.

Thanks for the info, yeah I think not having them talk (at least for this movie) makes it even more interesting. I'll definitely have to catch this movie when I can.

It must not be a good thing if nobody has commented on the movie yet...

I guess I should be the first one to comment on this movie since I did think it came out last week.

I just came back from seeing the 11:45am showing. After not watching any of the originals, and only seeing how bad the Mark Wahlberg version was, I can honestly say, this was a very good movie. There were some slow parts in the beginning, but what movie isn't slow when trying to dissect the story line.

I really liked it, and James DeFranco is becoming my new favorite actor.

is one of my favorite scenes from this summer. As usual, Andy Serkis did a great job with the motion capture, especially when you compare it to the other Planet of the Apes movies with the people not even attempting to move like apes.

Best film all summer. Not a single minute of story lag. Andy serkis must win something for his performance.
