Realizing that yes, it's a movie and fiction, but I'm quite intrigued as to how they're gonna set up the Apes taking over the world angle. I can't wait, hopefully it's mindblowing.

I haven't been following this movie much but looking at the trailers this movie looks downright intriguing. I only have one question:

I haven't heard them talking in the trailers, but I think Caesar at least understands and I wouldn't be surprised if they ended the movie with him talking.

Re: Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes
I guess I should be the first one to comment on this movie since I did think it came out last week.
I just came back from seeing the 11:45am showing. After not watching any of the originals, and only seeing how bad the Mark Wahlberg version was, I can honestly say, this was a very good movie. There were some slow parts in the beginning, but what movie isn't slow when trying to dissect the story line.
I really liked it, and James DeFranco is becoming my new favorite actor.
SpoilerThe only bad part was that the "war" between humans and apes seemed to last only a few minutes on the screen. The story up to the fight was built very well, but then it became anti-climatic. The fight could of lasted longer on the bridge, but instead seemed to fizzle as it was about to get better. Seems to me like they should the most exciting parts in the trailer.Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
