Saw it last night w/the girlfriend, who didn't want to see it initially. We both loved it. Agree w/some others, best movie of the summer for me. Ceasar as a character was totally compelling. Very well written and whoever directed did a fantastic job

I saw this tonight and it was great. Caesar carried the movie for me. Watching him evolve and communicate was awesome. The scene

Re: Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes

Wow, love seeing all the good impressions all the way around (plus high ratings on RT). The only two turn-offs for me were the look of the CGI, though that's tough to dance around when you have a bunch of apes running around... and the fact that I hadn't seen any of the other films before. I'm sure this is fresh and original enough that not seeing any of the other ones would be okay anyway, but it would be nice to do if possible.

I hope to get a viewing later this week, right alongside FD5.

The CGI looked awesome and this stands alone from the other Planet of the Apes films.

To be honest, from the first time I saw the trailer I thought it was not going to be good, especially how the last one with Mark Wahlberg.

Boy did they turn that around. Loved all the parts where Ceasar was involved, especially him growing up.

One of the best movies Ive seen in a long long time. Action scenes were great. I loved the build up and the background of the story. Caesar's moments were great. It looks like there might be a sequel to this, judging from the end.

This seems like it could be my new "Star Trek". Thought it would be kinda terrible, but turn out way better than expected.

Please tell me they're going to remake Return to the Planet of the Apes because after I seen this, that's all I wanted to know.

Best movie I've seen in a long, LONG time.

Well I seen about an hour and a half of the film today but will have to go back to see the rest of it. Why you ask? Reason being their was a flood in the theatre and the movie was stopped and everyone had to evacuate. At first I thought their was a problem with the projector until the ushers came and told us what had happened. Everyone was given a free admission and popcorn voucher to come again. It was raining pretty hard and the roof started to leak badly and three firetrucks were on the scene as we waited outside. As for the movie it is really great and can't wait to see the climatic finish when the theatre reopens.
