    Wow, great episode.

    I highly doubt that.

I don't know about them gearing up for a final season. I just think they decided to change things up a bit. I think it's a good move. I just hope we still get to see Randy often.

Just finished watching the episode, and it does seem like they're setting something up. I can't see any other reason for the way it ended. Matt and Trey use their characters as a vessel for what they think, and the conversation between Randy and Sharron just seemed like they were referring to the show itself.

        Weird, weird ending.

        Not sure I liked it.

        That's it for this season?

I think this is the Mid-Season finale.

Yeah, they're only 7 episodes into this season.

I just get the feeling that either this is something to shake things up and won't lead to the show ending or they're going to do some twist where this didn't really happen.

I don't know, maybe I just don't want to accept that the show could be close to ending. I don't see how they couldn't keep going considering they've always been so good at reacting to what's going on in the world.

But regardless of what happens, this episode was genius. The way Matt and Trey used the characters and their situations to relate to the show and fans was amazing IMO. And what I found funny was that a lot of people that might not have liked the show as of late and maybe really enjoyed this episode enjoyed an episode that mostly consisted of fart sounds and **** literally being on the screen. If anything that could be the point they were trying to prove and not signifying that the show is coming close to ending.

The episode itself was annoying, lol. With the farts and whatnot.

I usually hate when shows get artsy....but for some reason I love the fact South Park went there.

I think South Park will be wrapping up after the end of this season.

I do think that Stan's parents conversation was commentary of Matt and Trey about the show itself... how it's the same thing every week (their words, not mine). Keep in mind that both of the South Park creators have become the creators of the most successful new show on Broadway, "The Book of Mormon", also. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they are looking to get away from South Park and move on with more new ventures.

I think whatever comes later on will be anything but your typical series finale, though. If I'm right... can't wait to see how it all ends.

Yeah it definitely seemed as though they were making fun of themselves there, and maybe some foreshadowing about the show's future.

This is Matt and Trey though they really know how to pull a fast one over us so I'm holding out hope for that being the only thing going on.

I wouldnt be surprised if this is the last season. When I watched the last 7-8 mins it became obvious and kinda saddening. I always love SP, One of my top 3 animated shows all time. I always look forward to SP every season.
But in reality some of the episode felt repetitive. The last couple seasons there were couple of episodes I didnt care for.
I am curious to see how this series continue in Oct.

Season 15 returns in October (the 5th), but the big news is that Comedy Central and Matt and Trey signed on for two more seasons after this one, through 2013.

Yeah I saw this earlier. I guess some of us were a bit premature in thinking that the mid-season finale was the foretelling of the end. Good news indeed.
