This movie was so good that my girlfriend, who has never read a comic and had no idea who the characters were, loved it. I can't wait to see it again.

Oh yeah, Hawkeye definitely needs his own movie.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Is it necessary to have seen all the movies leading up to this one?

I've seen "Ironman", "Ironman 2", and "Captain America" but not "Thor" and "The Hulk".

Same here, no Batman trailer :-( but i will tell you this, this movie was amazing. I remember reading that it had a slow start, but I thought the start was fine and sort of put each character in in their own light. There are always a little quirky things in movie and no this was no exception:

                  Spoiler

The movie was a blast start to finish. The comic relief was a little too much though but it fit the characters profile. And Hawkeye needs his own freaking movie, or needs to be in one of the other characters movie cause he's BAD-***!!!!!!

Did you see it in 3D? I wonder if the 3D showings won't have it (because obviously TDKR won't be in 3D).

It must be a 3D thing, I saw The Avengers in 2D and got the Batman trailer.

                          I think it's 2 hours 20 minutes from what I've heard.
