      Magneto I could see, if TM'd, but "mutant"?? That's a commonly used word. Overall, though, it's ridiculous. Magneto was a Silver Age launched character.

          It's related to movie rights, not a trademark thing as I understand it. Fox has the mutants, Skrulls too as part of FF hence the Chitauri.

            Whose cinematic rights Marvel sold to Fox. You won't be hearing Captain America or Spider-Man mentioned in Days of Future Past, either.
