I am 100000000000% impressed with how they made Cleveland look really awesome.
I cannot wait for this movie. The Cap vs Iron Man banter/story is going to be just so incredibly awesome.Too Old To Game Club

Re: The Avengers (May 4th, 2012)
Disappointed no discussion of the Super Bowl trailer.
The extended version is fantastic. Get a few glimpses in there of things in the movie.
Spoiler
Hellicarrier is shown, the Skrull wanna be baddies are shown, as well as the beginning of the invasion.
Loki obviously turns himself in, which to me, opens up.... check the next spoiler box
Movie spoilers (rumors, don't click if you don't want to know)
Spoiler
Nothing confirmed here, just rumors that I've read and heard. One, Thanos is most definitely in the movie. Two, Red Skull is also in the movie and has 2 of the Infinity Gauntlet's stones as does Loki. Loki tricks Thanos into giving him the stones to invade earth, Red Skull is brought in to inlist Hydra who was still being used in underground missions over the years, and Red Skull was on ice per say. I've read several places say how Red Skull's scenes were shot in super secrecy and Thanos is all CGI. Thanos plays a very small roll, opening up future sequels where he'll be more involved but appears we're getting the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, which is awesome.
And Fox keeping the Skrulls out of this movie is a travesty. Wish comic book movies were bigger back when Marvel sold all these properties off like Xmen, Spiderman, and Fantastic Four. Just thinking of what we could have got with Marvel truly at the helm.

Re: The Avengers (May 4th, 2012)
It is...because he's new to the world.
The trailers are going to play heavy on Iron Man though, since he's a bigger sell and bigger actor.
The trailers truly haven't shown anything yet and still super excited.Comment

Re: The Avengers (May 4th, 2012)
And I totally get featuring Iron Man/Downey because he's a bigger draw. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be Iron Man and the Avengers because that takes away from all the other heroes.
I wasn't aware this was coming out in May so it's getting pretty close!Comment

Well i was sold when Joss was director....and then yesterday i saw he Hulk punch a ******* plane out of the air.
I agree though the Skrulls not being in this is a travesty, thoughSpoilerrumor is all those invading planes ARE the SkrullsHELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: The Avengers (May 4th, 2012)
I think that Iron Man will come out and seem like the leader initially, or at least act like it. I can see Cap. kind of taking a little time in the movie to adjust to leading them. Cap. is THE leader of the team, though. So he better get his respect.PSN - RedSea_RouchComment

Re: The Avengers (May 4th, 2012)
I thought the extended trailer was excellent. I don't really think they are beefing Iron Man. wWhat I think is happening is Downey nails the Tony Stark portion of the character. Who else can say, "We have a Hulk" like that?Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Re: The Avengers (May 4th, 2012)
I don't know exactly how long (movie time) it's been since Cap was thawed out but one needs to remember that he's essentially a man out of his time so yeah it's going to take him some time to assert leadership. I bet he'll take the mantle of leadership during the final act of the movie and acclaimed leader at the end of the movie.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
