Great movie, so much so that I watched it twice..in one day which I've NEVER done for any movie.

Not a comic book reader or none of that but, this movie made me feel like a little kid again almost. The Hulk was nothing less of what I expected and all the other characters we're very good as well. I would definitely pay for aq Hawk-eye(not sure if spelled right) movie.

When the Hulk tried to lift up Thor's Hammer and it wouldn't even budge it had me rollin'. And of course the "Puny God" line was just priceless.

Yeah, your spoiler part was cool. I'm thinking it isn't about heavy. It'll only be moved by who it wants to move it. Kinda like Excalibur. That line is priceless. My 3 year old loves that whole segment. (Loki-Hulk)The 6 year old loved everything. He's so happy that he got to see it that he's actually listening to me today! (he thinks we'll go see it again..... )

I heard so much hype about this movie that I actually went to check it out today. This was the first time that I've been to the movies in a couple of years and my first 3D experience since Spy Kids lol. The glasses they give you now are a heck of a lot better than the old ones with red and blue lenses.

I went in expecting it to be lame, but I came away really enjoying it. Watching Hulk smash stuff up was awesome and I thought that Thor was cool as hell. I actually want to watch his movie now to find out more about that character. His interactions with Loki were great. I got a kick out of how he delivered the adoption line lol. Captain America wasn't too bad, but not really one of my favorites in the film.

Scarlett Johansson did her part of providing eye candy, but what exactly makes her Avengers material? All I was able to gather was that she's good at getting information from people and can somewhat hold her own in a fist fight.

Same deal with Nick Fury. I saw him buck some shots at a few people, but in the comics does he have any special powers or abilities that make him interesting?

I feel you about her; and Hawkeye, for that matter. They seemed especially "human." They are the two best SHIELD agents, though. Maybe that's why they are included. Nick Fury is a super spy. He's also a bad dude in the comics. They are all assassins. But, for this story, they were hopelessly overmatched and miscast, IMO.

Too bad about Coulson, I really liked his character. I really liked how he was a Captain America fanboy. His mancrush on Cap and the trading card stuff was some of my favorite things about the movie.

He's not dead. His last line is that they need a push and then later with the cards Maria says "Those cards weren't in his jacket,they were in his locker.",that's not hard to put together.

Yeah I'm pretty sure this is what happened, the mention of the cards being in his locker I think was to put out that Fury was trying to motivate the Avengers as mentioned earlier.

Amazing movie.
