Re: Dexter (Season 6)
I love Dexter maybe as much as the next huge fan of the series, but this season better do something to move the story forward or I'm done.
I really like the casting options, but damn it if I can't guess what this professor of religious studies is going to do this year. If he happens to be yet another guy that finds out Dexter's secret and challenges him to keep it a secret only to be killed with said secret while everyone else is too dumb to figure it out, then the show would have officially run out of ideas. There's no way anyone couldn't disagree with that.
Having said that, I expect the show to surprise me because they always find a way to redo a plot but with enough twists to make it feel different. I guess what I'm really saying is I don't want another cop-out season finale like we got in Season 5. That was a disgrace to the series."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

At least that's my fear, if they do it will be the last episode I watch.Comment

When they avoided that angle in Season 3 (that's the one he loses his dark passenger for a bit, right?) I breathed a sigh of relief.
The old showrunner was smart enough to know that that storyline would kill the series. I'm not so sure I'm convinced this new guy (started in season 5) knows that.

Re: Dexter (Season 6)
Something I was thinking about....(and someone may have brought this up)
IF Dexter gets caught, and all his deeds come out, all the people hes actually put away with blood evidence are in a position where they could be released....Comment
