Re: The Greatest Rapper of All Time

Idk I just feel that Eminem in some ways is similar to Pac and in some ways better. like already states there is no GOAT cause in rap it seems Boone can agree on almost anything it's just a matter of preference. I prolly love Eminem just due to the fact I kinda just grew up with him, I remember hearing songs of his all throughout my childhood

50 Cent. Based on his early material alone (97-2003).

He did "Out of my Head" (with Trey Songz), and it's on the radio all the time here, but I'm in Chicago. Personally, I don't like it, but if the point of making "radio music" is to sell, then Lupe has proven he has that ability in his repertoire, since Lasers debuted at #1 on the charts. He also did "I Don't Wanna Care Night Now" (also on Lasers), which I love, but more for the beat and his flow than for anything thought-provoking.

He's sort of like my other favorite MC, Nas. Nas can make the occasional club song, but it's out of his element and not exactly a strength of his. Luckily, they both don't go to that well too often. I prefer when they stick to their strengths, as that kind of music appeals to me more, but both have proven they can be commercially viable and make something for the clubs.

2pac easily. There have been other rappers more "skilled" than 2pac, but NO ONE has had his mic presence and emotion where you really FEEL his music. And 2pac wasn't a slouch on the mic either, and he was getting better.

Eh, I personally think DMX was better than or at least equal to Pac when it came to presence and emotion on the mic.

This girl said Pac and his boys FORCED her into the bedroom and the raped her. Do you what happened earlier that day? She was giving him head on a dance floor in a club.

Tupac didn't rape anybody, he didn't need to. The girl was with him plenty of times before including right before 'the rape.'

Pac was just a scapegoat. An influential black man who spoke out agaisnt the injustice and greed of the American Government. Plenty of powerful people wanted him in away and out of the picture.

The girl said multiple people raped her. The only person ever targeted was Pac. They never looked for the other men, they just wanted Pac because of his influence. He did more by age 25 than Malcom X or MLK.

He said it best himself after he got out: "The women said there was plenty of guys there. Where are they? Who's looking for them? Why am I the only one here?"

He was set up and all the evidence suggests it. He was not a hypocrite.
No disrespect, but what the **** did Tupac do?

How about greatest lyricist? That defines a rapper IMO.

Nas and Big L are the two best off the top of my head. Big L definitely didn't live long enough to be considered a top 10 rapper though. He was, however, the punchline king.
