    I agree with this.

I'm not too big of a rock music listener, but I love a lot of stuff from the 90s. Nirvana, STP, RHCP, Our Lady Peace, Soundgarden, etc.

The 90s were a great era for music in general IMO.

always good to see an OLP fan, their first 4 albums deserve to be more well known. Their albums from Naveed through Spiritual Machines were fantastic.

Already saw Sublime out there, thats another one that would definitely be in my top five.

Off the top of my head I'll toss out, Live - Throwing Copper as a definite top 5 album of the 90's for me

                      No order

Sublime - 40 Oz. to Freedom
                      Beck - Odelay
                      Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
                      Radiohead - The Bends
                      Operation Ivy - Energy

Those are just off the top of my head. I'm sure I'd change one or two if I thought about it more.

EDIT: Snoop - Doggystyle definitely fits in there somewhere. See?

This should be top 50 or 100 albums of the 90's.

not an "old fart", but I'll contribute.

                            1. Ten- Pearl Jam
                            2. (What's The Story) Morning Glory- Oasis
                            3. Dirt- Alice in Chains
                            4. Metallica- Metallica
                            5. Nirvana- Nevermind

I'm kind of surprised Morning Glory has not been named more. Wonderwall, Don't Look Back in Anger, Some Might Say, Morning Glory, and Champagne Supernova, all of Oasis' better stuff all packed into one album.

As far as Ten goes, you can make a case that it was a Top 5 album of the last 20 years. It's true nobody makes an album like that anymore, but nowadays if an album is half as good as Ten I'd buy it.
