Definitely my favorite episode of the season thus far.

The last scene with Jesse and Mike almost getting robbed was intense, and I liked how Jesse has earned the right to smoke in the car lol.

This episode had the makings of the "glue" of the whole season....possibly. I'd love to just stay away from it, then watch them all at one time...but that ain't gonna happen!

My DVR cut off before the episode ended.

The last thing I saw was Hank sitting at his kitchen table looking at his files when he was talking to Marie. The last thing he said (as he was looking at a picture of the bloodstained floor) was "Everything this guy bought was organic, vegan..." and that's where it got cut off. What happened after that and how much did I miss? Please, someone tell me!

I love this show but the pacing this season is driving me insane. It's very slow. Especially considering S2 had the Tuco stuff early, and last season had the cousins early. It seems like this show is stuck in neutral at the moment.

I thought last weeks episode was great and thought we were headed in the right direction but last night's episode seemed like a pit stop to me.

I feel like it's the same pacing as it's always had. Last season moved incredibly slow, even with the cousins. It's a good slow, though, as there is always an incredible payoff.

I know what you guys are saying.. This is the first time I'm watching it week to week. I watched s1-s3 on blu in about 3 weeks a few months ago. That's probably why the pacing is now driving me crazy.

Walt does have a huge ego and his pride will get the best of him eventually one would think.. Yes it was a key plot point but it was also the last 5 mins of the episode. Usually with any good show, the last 5 mins will have some reveal to make you tune in next week. The body of the episode didn't do much for me, felt like a filler much like the 2nd and 3rd episodes.

I Know it'll pay off this season.. It always does. But hopefully they kick the show into another gear Sunday.

Keep in mind that Walt is probably still holding on to the money and fame he could have had with his original colleagues. I have a feeling that at some point they're going to work that angle in again.

This show has clearly shown for the last 3 years that they know EXACTLY what they're doing.

This show has clearly shown for the last 3 years that they know EXACTLY what they're doing.

Yes the scene did a great job of setting up the rest of the season and likely the show. Walt's ego & pride will eventually lead to his downfall. He won't let anyone else get the credit and it's gonna eventually cost him. It's like he almost wants Hank on the case and for him to discover his secret. I have faith in the writers and know this will all lead to a crazy middle/end of the season going into the final season.

But I stand by my statement that this season has been stuck in the neutral. Never said it wasn't a great show. Never said this season was bad. Not even close. But when comparing it to the beginnings of Seasons 2 & 3, it's not close to that level of excitement. Skyler is getting too much screen time. Again. She hasn't annoyed me this much since the boss storyline. Walt/Jeese have barely spoken in 5 episodes. Walt Jr might as well be written out. Gus & Sal probably have had 15 minutes of screen time between them in the first 5 episodes.

Anyone check out Hanks blog from the AMC site? They do such a good job with that site, probably the best I've seen for a show.
