I feel for his family. They have to deal with his stupid decision for the rest of their lives.

On another note, someone in the Cleveland area was sentenced to 15-life in prison for his 7th DUI.

See there is the problem, his 7th DUI and 15 to life, he'll probably see the light of day again. The Justice system is to easy on folks.

Maybe with Dunn perhaps there can be some good come from it and others realize that drinking and driving could result in this. I always hope that with even the worse of things something good can come from it, lets hope the same can come of this.

Ironicslly I always thought Steve-O would be the first guy from Jackass to pass. Yet now he's clean and sober for a few years now.

Regardless of the circumstances, It's never good to hear about the death of a human being. R.I.P. Ryan Dunn, thanks for laughs.

I had a really close friend who had a car wreck and died. They had a closed casket because of the burns. There was alcohol involved. It doesn't make it hurt any less or change how anyone thought of him. Dunn was still a human being and none of us really know the guy... I'm sure if you could ask him, he would take it back, but that's just not how it works..

No matter if you liked the guy or not, it's still sad someone's life ended in this way. Maybe Ryan's death will be a wake up call for people not to drink and drive. Most won't give it another thought but maybe this will hit home and a few will think twice about getting behind the wheel after a night of drinking.

That's the thing though. I don't get how something like this doesn't affect you. Most people like you said don't think twice because they think that nothing like this could ever happen to them.

I don't get it. Drinking and driving scares the living **** out of me. I've seen too many bad things happen from it. RIP.

Dunn's Passenger Indentified as Drinking Pal Zachary Hartwell. Cops say both Dunn and Hartwell (pictured above right) both died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash around 2:38 AM Monday morning.

Sources who were at the bar with the two men tell us Dunn had intended to drop Hartwell off at his home ... and then Dunn planned to hang out with another friend after that.

Hartwell is credited as a production assistant on the "Jackass 2" movie and recently had a small role in the Bam Margera-directed 2009 movie "Minghags."

That's a little harsh, isn't it?

Like others have said, it's sad event when anyone dies. Thankfully, he didn't hit anyone else. And of course I think his actions were dumb and reckless but, I'd never say that he deserved to die. He just used some really poor judgement and paid the ultimate price because of it. RIP

Dunn's always been one of my favorites from the Jackass crew and I hate that this happened, but I can't feel sorry for him considering how and why it happened. I do feel bad for his family and friends though. Sometimes it takes something like the death of a well-known person to serve as a wakeup call for people to realize that no one is immortal or invincible, so if his death can prevent at least 1 person from getting behind the wheel drunk, then something positive can come from it.

To each their own I suppose, but I've never been one to see the fun in drinking. In saying that, whatever you decide to do is your business, but please be safe and smart enough to have someone sober drive you or just stay wherever you are until the booze wear off. I've read of too many instances where innocent people, families, etc are taken because of someone else's stupidity and irrational decision making when they're drunk. I know a few people that have lost loved ones to drunken driving accidents and what's even worse is that they weren't even the ones that were drinking. It is a shame that these things happen, but it is a fact of life and something that can easily be avoided. Sorry for turning this into a public service announcement, but I get so aggravated and disgusted with people that continuously put their own lives and the lives of others at risk with this irresponsible behavior. I'm definitely not perfect and I have faults like everyone else, but when it comes to this subject I tend to have really strong feelings about it. I guess because it is something I don't do and have never done.

I had a family member killed because of a drunk driver. I have no remorse for those that drink and drive.

My uncle was brain damaged by a drunk driver when he was 17. He's in his mid 50's now and his family has had to pay for most of the consequences.

I have little tolerance for people that drink and drive also.

I am sorry that he died the way he did but stupid things happen to stupid people. It's common sense if you drink you shouldn't drive but some always have the it can't happen to me mentality and think their impervious. I am just glad he didn't hit others as that would have been more tragic. Condolences to his family and friends.
