I feel for his family. They have to deal with his stupid decision for the rest of their lives.

On another note, someone in the Cleveland area was sentenced to 15-life in prison for his 7th DUI.

That's horrible. He should've gotten that sentencing after his 3rd DUI.

Once is a mistake. Twice is a trend. Three times and you're just plain stupid and are a hazard to everyone else.

People need to wake the **** up. Innocent people are dying and their families are being put through incredible grief because others are too thick to call a friend to get a ride home. It kills me to no end to think that if I'm at the wrong place at the wrong time, I'm gone. All because some complete stranger is too stupid, too irresponsible to not drive after drinking too much. I came away alive and unhurt, amazingly, after being T-boned by a drunk driver. I don't want to go through that again, I don't do well with other people putting my life in their own hands.

Definitely sad, and I never like to see anyone killed, but considering these guys built their careers off of making poor judgements, I'm not exactly surprised.

Luckily no one else was seriously hurt.

It's a shame, hate to see any like end prematurely, but it appears he made a couple poor choices that night. one was drinking, and the other was leaving the foot too heavy on the gas in a porche, which doesnt have much around it.

Yeah 130mph in a 50? Yeaaaahhh I feel sickened when I see all these FB statuses and stuff about missing him and stuff, I have no remorse for a guy going almost triple the speed limit while drunk, all i'm happy for is there were no other innocent families or someone killed due to his stupidity.

I agree but we don't know what happened inside of that car before they hit the tree. Maybe the passenger told him to slow down.

I hate to sound cruel or insensitive but if you're driving that fast in a 50 MPH zone you're just asking to be killed.

A couple days ago near Cleveland, a multiple DUI offender decided he was gonna drive down a dark winding road near 100mph. He lost control and started going off the road. He over-corrected and crossed the yellow line and hit a car head on. In the care was a Deputy Sheriff, his wife and their 2 kids. 11 and 9. The mother and the son were killed instantly. The father and the daughter are in critical condition and not expected to make it. A whole family gone in a split second. All because someone drank to much and decided to drive. Oh and by the way. The guy who hit them is expected to make it as he is now fair condition.

Just think about this the next time you might be drunk or even buzzed at a bar. Take a cab, call a friend. Please.
