Re: Luther ( Tv Series BBC)
Apparently they want to do a prequel movie:
“I’ve written the script and we hope to get the film made next year," said Cross. “Idris is a brilliant leading man and we’ve hoped to turn Luther into a movie for a long time. It will follow his career in the earlier days, when he is still married to Zoe, and the final scene in the film is the first of the initial TV series.”

I'd definitely be interested in that though I'd probably really miss seeing Alice Morgan and her subtle malice.

My man Luther was a man possessed when she was alive. Tore up his own office and just didn't give a damn. I was upset when they killed her off.Comment

Those last couple episodes were insane.

Re: Luther ( Tv Series BBC)
The last two episodes felt uneven where the first two were pretty gripping and held a constant pace. Plus, the two cases (especially the serial killer) were more interesting to me than the hero-turned-cop killer especially with how they did those scenes. Very tense and edge of the seat during those home invasion scenes.
I liked that Alice came back, but the last leg of the Stark investigation/revenge case felt very shallow and thin to me and was used just to serve the climax as a "everybody ends up at the same location" device.
Overall season 2 is still my favorite and the second half of season 1 topples over 3, but 3 is still very good. Luther is just a badass plain and simple.

Justin's shooting didn't really seem to add more to the tension, and Luther's mind state than what was already there. I thought it was shock value more than anything.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: Luther ( Tv Series BBC)
That's what I figured. That was just weird and didn't really have any "weight" to it like you said. Luther seemed pretty fairly composed after that incident and even more so during the "interrogation."

Re: Luther ( Tv Series BBC)
Cross and Elba have the freedom from the BBC to just make a Luther story whenever they have the time and inclination, so there will never be set timetable for when or if a new "season" will come out.Jordan Mychal Lemos
