I think it was the 1996 Citrus bowl when OSU lost to Tennessee 20-14. But it might of been a Reds game when they played the Mets at Riverfront Stadium. It was either the summer before the Citrus Bowl or the summer after, so I'm not sure which came first. I remember we sat in the nose bleeds and I was scared because we were so high up lol.

Re: What's your earliest sports memory?
i think it was the 92' national championship game between Alabama and Miami where the receiver caught a deep ball then started streaking towards then endzone, all of a sudden you see this bama safety chasing him down, and then the only time i've ever seen this play happen where in perfect stride the safety ripped the ball from the reciever when he brought his right arm back. Ball never even touched the ground.
found it
at the 2:45 mark
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

Re: What's your earliest sports memory?
It's really hazy, but in.. 1991? I was watching a regular season? football game that Buffalo was hosting (I remember the astroturf? and endzone markings).
I think the one I could probably remember actual details about was the 1995 Sugar Bowl (VT beating Texas).Rose City 'Til I Die

1988 Clemson vs South Carolina NCAAF game. We were living in Rock Hill, SC at the time.
Some friends of my mothers were over for the game. 1 was a USC fan and the rest were Clemson. I remember them yelling and getting loud. I was 5.PSN: buckeye02Comment

Duke/Kentucky. Was actually staying with some family from Kentucky and remember watching that game and remembering everybody being absolutely devastated when Laettner hit that shot. There were kids crying and the whole nine yards."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: What's your earliest sports memory?
I know i went with my Dad to the Seahawks vs Broncos playoff game in 1983 (because i talked my Mom into getting tickets for his birthday after hearing ad on radio) but i cant recall ANY specific details of the game itself, except i seem to recall a terrified bird somehow stuck inside the Kingdome.
Id say Lakers/Celtics '84 NBA Finals or Carl Lewis & Mary Lou Retton in '84 Olympics are my first significant memory.Comment

Re: What's your earliest sports memory?
My earliest sports memory was watching Dick Bennett's UWGB's in the NCAA tournament back in 1994 when they got out of the first round. I don't remember much else about it other than I was watching it on my parent's TV in their bedroom.
The first memory that I can actually remember details about the game and such would be the SF vs SD Super Bowl in early 1995. Very sad day lolCo-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Re: What's your earliest sports memory?
One of my first sports entertainmentmemories is when Jimmy Snuka went to the top of the cage to "superfly" Bob Backlund. After that it would be most of the seventies and all of the 80's in which I was indoctrinated with how horrible and cursed the Boston Red Sox were. As a kid I really believed it.

Now that I think about it, me too. Mine was a Winston Cup race at Pocono in '94 or '95. All I remember was sitting on top of the motor home in the infield. No idea who won.Comment
