Re: Django Unchained
It was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. It was longer than I expected. The shooting scenes was more graphic than I expected(not complaining). The cast was great. Samuel L Jackson hella funny, really enjoyed Waltz, and Leo & Jamie was great.SpoilerWasnt the guy who killed Waltz the guy who Waltz killed in the beginning

Re: Django Unchained
More graphic than you expected?
Now, I haven't seen this movie yet, but we're talking about Tarantino here. The same dude who made Inglorious Bastards, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, etc... so my question is, what exactly were you expecting? Cause based on his history, I'd be hard pressed to be surprised by anything in this movie.
So either you went in with clearly faulty expectations, or this movie will go down as the most graphic big blockbuster in movie history

Re: Django Unchained
Good movie, but did we really need to hear the n word 500 times to realize it was set in the 1800's? I think that aspect was a bit over the top and I don't care if people say it, as long as they aren't saying it to me.PSN: FiSH_M3ATComment

Re: Django Unchained
I didn't put Tarantinos other movies into equation. Heck I loved how graphic it was. When I decide to watch movies I don't really focus on the directorMore graphic than you expected?

Re: Django Unchained
Where can I go to actually talk about the movie without spoiling for any on this site? Because I loved the movie. Everyone should go see it. But 2 things in the movie stuck out badly for me that didn't make any sense.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Django Unchained
Well, if you had decided to take his other movies into account, you would have been prepared? too not expect a Tarantino film to be graphic is like watching a star wars movie and saying you weren't prepared for so many space ships. The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment

Re: Django Unchained
Definitely. It wasnt like I didnt like it, I didnt really expect it. It made me like it even more how people was dying. Pulp Fiction & Kill Bills is the only movies I could definitely say that I knew it was a Tarantino movie. Like I said, I dont really focus on the director at all, unless he/she is brought up alot in commercials.
I never saw Star Wars/Trek.Comment

Re: Django Unchained
I think its hard to not watch a Tarantino film and realize its directed by him. If not from the dialogue, but also because since Kill Bill he's picked up a lot with his visuals in a stylistic manner. Not to mention he's a pretty big name to not notice. That'd be like going to see Lincoln and not realizing Spielberg directed it or going to see Batman and not knowing Nolan stirred that ship.
Still, there's a cool theory about Tarantion's universe and his line of connection is his violence.
