Nope because it will inevitably lead to others getting involved and the topic of race will undoubtedly become part of the discussion.

Plus, he stated an opinion. You stated yours. No one is changing their mind. What's the point? That's rhetorical by the way.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Excellent movie. The cast was amazing, especially Waltz and Leo.

More like Django off the chain. Loved it, all the main characters were amazing especially Waltz. He's one of my favorites now. One of the greatest actors to be in a Tarantino movie.

I loved everything about the film even the score and the soundtrack (Rick Ross, WTF!?) Its a very violent film but I'm not complaining about it.

                  Spoiler

Jamie Foxx played the role perfect, kinda glad Will Smith didn't get the part.

                    Re: Django Unchained

Just saw it again, even better the 2nd time. I think it is the 1st time I ever saw a movie more than once at the theaters. Great acting all-around. Like others said, Jamie was great for that part.

Like I said before, "Mainly because the part seems to needs to have a believable shoot'em up character, but also with a comedic side." On Will Smith I said, "could see him doing this movie 10 years ago. He hasnt done a R rated movie in a WHILE." I think the last movie that Will Smith did(that I can remember) where there was alot of bad language was Bad Boys. Plus, I think he regretted doing Wild Wild West(turned down the Matrix), even though it did well in theaters. Even though Jamie is older, he looks younger than Will Smith. So, he looked right for the part.

But, I definitely dont anyone else could have played their roles better than Jackson and Waltz. Especially, Jackson. He was made for that part. But, I dont think Jonah Hill was necessary for the movie. His part was funny, but his part forgettable.

tarantino is one of my favs and i've been waiting to see this since it was announced. crazy it's been three years since inglorious basterds. i finally had some time to see django: unchained last night. the acting was top notch! leo dicaprio's performance was insane! loved it. sam jackson as stephen almost stole the film though. love tarantino's dialogue. perfect blend of banter, comedy, violence, and a love story. i felt like this ran a little long (like most of his work) but enjoyed this film. literary died laughing at the KKK part. the crazy violence was there as expected. still haven't seen a lot of the oscar front runners this year (silver linings playbook, lincoln, life of pi, le mis, etc....) but this is probably my favorite movie i've seen all year. def seeing this again while its still showing in theaters.

Even though I spent over 40 dollars on this movie since Thursday, I dont regret it at all. I paid my way and my cousin's on Thursday and mine and 2 others todays, and I got an extra ticket for nothing(not really can use it for Gangster Squad). At least those tickets were discounted, if not it would have been close to $60. It was actually only $20+ I payed, since I traded in a couple games.
