I really like the Circles idea. There are plenty of times I want to post an update, but don't want EVERYONE on my friends list to see. Especially awesome once I create my OS circle.

I like this too. Can you post comments without it showing up on everyone's feed? I wish FB did this. I wanna be cheesy with girls on their statuses and it not be announced to the world.

That's exactly what it does. You select the circle and then you can update your status. I just hope it catches on big time. I'm starting to spread myself thin with social media lol! I don't need everything.

That's not exactly what it does. This isn't facebook, you don't post on other peoples walls the same way. When you post something to your own stream you can select which circles can view it. When you comment on somebody else's stream you can not choose who sees it. What ever circles the original post was set to, those are the people who will see your comment.

So if you cheese it up on some chicks stream, everyone included in the original post will see your cheese.

Actually you could do what you were initially thinking. Just create a circle with just one 'chick' in it, and publish to only that circle. It will post as limited, and only you and said 'chick' can see it LOL.

That kinda works, it just wouldn't be a comment to her post, or their "statuses" as originally asked. To take it further, you don't even have to add her to a circle. When you post to your stream you can select singular people also, not just circles.

Doesn't surprise me. It's still in beta and the number of people who joining really exploded the last couple days. They'll probably continue to throttle the number of acceptances for a while.
