That's huge. I'd love to see all of the Wonder Years digitally. I never watched the show religiously. Only watched reruns when I was a kid. I did watch the Finale when it aired on ABC. Probably the only time I watched an episode on air-date.

It's going to be a lot of this and I guess people will have to decide whose content they want most, if not both.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

Kind of funny. It's only been a month or so - but I'm already talking to people like: "remember when you could have a netflix DVD sitting on your shelf for 2 months and watch movies online all day for $8.99 a month? Man, those were the days".

Shouldn't be that hard, I guess all they need to do is work out the contracts or something.

Can Amazon Prime get a 360 hookup already, so I can cancel Netflix?

Netflix's TV shows aren't even that good anymore...SMH.

Re: Netflix hikes prices for DVDs + streaming

I'm holding on to Netflix (streaming). I loved The Wonder Years, but I'm not going to be switching over to Prime because of that latest news. Amazon has a little more to go before they are a substantial contender.

The problem Netflix created is not something they can't fix. They happened to badly transition their focus from DVD to streaming, but if they can continue to add quality content they'll continue to be a major contender.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

Just signed up for a 1 month free trial, streaming and blu rays. I was a bum and always used my moms, but she went to blu ray only. Was kind of surprised they let me do the entire package. It's all hassle free, you can cancel on the 29th day if you want.

Is Amazon any good? My wife either wants that or Netflix - but she wants to sign up with the Amazon free 2-day shipping crap, which comes with that Amazon Prime thing. Our Blu-Ray player can play the videos, but I can't tell if the selection of movies is any good, since the search on their site kind of sucks and pulls up rent/buy movies along with the Prime free to watch movies.

The Wonder Years is on streaming now.

Arrested Development will "air" exclusively on Netflix and Showtime.

Two other shows they're showing will be David Fincher/Kevin Spacey produced House of Cards and Lilyhammer starring Steven Van Zandt (The Sopranos) which is about a mob informant who moves to Norway under the Witness Protection Program.
