Dale knows basically everything going on within the group and is probably the only one right now to know that Shane is tipping into pyschopath territory.
No doubt he cares for her, what bothered me is that his confrontation with Shane felt like jealousy more than his caring for the group. That scene in particular just didn't get me on Dale's side at all.

I want to like Dale, but I can't stand how he always has his mouth agape and that stupid bewildered look on his face all the time.

And I really can't stand Rick's acting style.
He kind of reminds me of a hyperactive David Caruso.
The way he always talks with his head at an angle. And then he always glances back several times during his conversations too. Not to mention he's a close-talker that loves to grab the back of people's necks for dramatic effect.

Rick always causes me to giggle (Yeah...he's reduced me to giggling) whenever he's in any scene. I didn't notice he always grabbed the back of people's necks and ,now that I do, I get attacked by spasms of laughter, which have since subsided into giggling.

I'm not to the point where it annoys me yet...

Dale's signature look always cracks me up.

As far as I can tell, Lori and Shane have only hooked up since Rick's coma/zombie invasion, which is why Lori keeps using that as her excuse. If there is a twist thrown in that predates it Rick's coma, I'm done.

                Yeah, I thought the same.

I really like this show, but I almost feel like the writers have backed themselves into a wall with some of these characters. It is in a way where if most were killed off, I don't think most viewers would be upset. I thought Lori was getting on my nerves the most, but Dale seems to be running away with that crown. He continues to stir the pot with everyone. I think he will piss off the wrong person ***hint hint*** Shane ***hint hint*** which I wouldn't doubt Shane going psycho on him. Shane is becoming the pimp of the group, he has had Lori, now Andrea, maybe Maggie next and Otis's wife to comfort her.

Overall it was a pretty good episode and can't wait to see next week being the mid-season finale.

That funny moment redeemed Andrea (a little bit) for me. Though I agree that her instantly having auto-aim after getting one zombie in the head was a bit too much.

I certainly didn't get why Dale was all of a sudden up Shane's ***. Granted, Shane's psycho and all but his instantly picking up on (maybe) Shane shooting on Andrea and immediately confronting him about everything wasn't very Dale-like.

Did anyone else think Lori was lying to Rick about Shane? She was nodding her head with a no then all of a sudden said yes. It wouldn't be far-fetched if she was cheating on him since it's been made clear they were having problems before Rick got shot.
Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought after that scene.

Well the scene from one of the first episodes this season showed Lori at the school picking up Carl, talking to a lady about the trouble Rick and her were having in their marriage. It wouldn't be far fetched to think she slipped up in the past. It might have been just a one time thing back then. Maybe that's why Shane told her Rick was dead, because he already cared for her?

I find myself more interested in this show than in season one.

Seems that what other people hate (and my friends seem to feel the same way a lot of you feel) is what I like most.

I mean I get it when someone annoys you but to me that's the point of the character. Lori is supposed to be confused and bipolar. Real people are like that. Dale is supposed to be in everyone's business with a side of jealousy because real people are like that.

Maybe it's just me but I love this show.

                        I do as well.

OS over the years has proven to me that I'd be a miserable **** if I didn't have my own personal tastes in movies/shows/music/games.

I'm being dramatic. I know other people love the show too and I agree it's great that we all have our own tastes.

I am seeing a lot of people complain about season two so I realize I'm either in the minority or much like everything else in life, those with pleasurable experiences say less while the negative tends to be the loudest.

Not that I'm trying to criticize anyone. I'm just trying to balance the scales a bit.

I was tossing this around today, but it is possible that Sophia turned into a walker and has been captured in that barn by Herschel before Rick and crew found their way there? There is just no way how this little girl could have survived this whole time without food or water + surviving a zombie attack or two along the way.

BTW Carlos, I'm still enjoying this show albeit a few negatives I have repeated a few times since the beginning of the season. Like I say, I can list a bunch of zombie movies here that some should go watch and then come back to tell us how great Season 2 of The Walking Dead is compared to those POS films. LOL!

Yeah you are one of the people I thought of to realize I should make it clearer what I mean.

I know you love the show but also have your complaints. That's fair.

That would be a great twist.

I think the season has gotten a lot better the past three episodes or so, which is largely due to less screen time for Lori and Rick.

I understand hating a character, but Lori's motivations just aren't at all reasonable to me. Sure, she's a bitch, but her actions shouldn't always to appear coming out of nowhere. There are plenty of characters that exist to be "hated," but the good ones still have logic and rationale.
