Yeah I agree, Walking Dead is good, but MM and BB are still way ahead of it for me. Heck I might even put The Killing ahead of it too.

Not as good as MM and BB as in terms of writing and acting but I don't think those shows are going to come up with anything cooler than zombies and killing zombies.

That first show was boring for the most part except for the last 5 seconds.

i went on to watch boardwalk empire and it's much much better, walking dead is now an after thought.

Different tastes. BB i enjoy when I watch it but i dont plan around things to watch it and Wife and I watched MM as she said it was supposed to be good. Never watched it since.
Doesnt mean it isnt good... Just not enjoyable to us.

I liked the 2nd season premiere. I like the conflicts and the storylines. Slow as crap, but I still like it.

I'm a bit surprised at how many people weren't feeling the premiere. Yes, it was slow and nothing really developed until the end but for the most part, I think it was fantastic.

I guess I just put the "keeps me on my toes" factor of the show ahead of the story. I'm not saying I would still watch the show if the story was crap but even if it delivers a subpar episode, I still enjoy it a lot. Can't say that about many shows.

Just wondering if anyone else see the 6-part webisodes special on amctv? This is the one that shows what had happened to the woman that Rick encountered when on the bicycle in the pilot. It's basically 3-5 mins long for each episode. There is somewhat of a teaser in the end.

Perhaps the other AMC shows could lend some of their characters to TWD.

                      - Walter White could appear to be working on a chemical-based zombie cure while secretly looking for a way to control the undead
                      - Don Draper could calmly sip three fingers of Canadian Club while "consoling" attractive female survivors
                      - Sarah Linden could search for the last working telephone in Georgia so she could tell her fiance for the 50th time that she still needs a few more days to wrap up her investigation

I finished watching the premiere last night on DVR. I liked it. Lots of story threads are set up and I'm interested to see where things go.

I didnt care for the premiere because it was just so stagnant they dont seem to have a purpose or plan. How long has it been in show? i know gas isnt good forever how long can they just travel around?

It's only been a couple months in the show.
