Nah, Opie is the dead one now, mark my words.....

so do you think Clay somehow makes it out of the season alive then? Not against your opinion, but wondering if you think Clay and Opie would be gone then? Thats a good chunk of the main cast they would be getting rid of in the next 3 episodes.

Not sure how this idea is, but I've been kicking it around for the past few weeks. I think that Clay makes it out alive this season regardless of Opie and Jax coming after him. Clay goes on to form a new club for next season while Jax leads the Sons. We truly see Clay vs. Jax in next season which will be the final season. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Clay get killed off this season and have Jax run the club, but it seems like Sutter loves to write his stories with corruption, backstabbing, etc. especially with the Shield as a prime example.

I hate to see Opie die, but maybe this is what it will take for Jax to totally snap. Jax lied to Opie and got him to stick around which resulted in Donna getting killed in S1. Now the shoe is on the other foot and Opie wasn't too happy that Jax lied to him. As much as they want us to believe that Tara will get killed, I doubt it since the way its been built up it hasn't been a surprise. Opie dies because he is in a rage right now after finding out about Piney and he could make a bad mistake along the way which Clay capitalizes on taking him out.

Last nights episode was again fantastic and just felt way to short for even 90 minutes. Sutter and the rest of the writing team are churning out some very good stuff here. He is very talented and hope that this continues with whatever other work he does in the future.

The whole deal with Tig threw me off since he took off his patch. Clay is losing a lot of respect from the entire club. There might be 2-3 guys that I can maybe see siding with him, but that is even slim.

My thoughts are random and feel a bit out there on where things will go, but this has been a damn good season. Now I can't wait for next Tuesday to get here already. LOL! I loved The Sopranos, The Shield, and LOST but SOA is quickly making a leap above those shows for the fact that imo we haven't had 1 bad episode or a filler episode yet. Every episode since S1 has had a purpose and moved the storylines forward.

Sutter said he wants to do a couple of more seasons after this at least. No way next year would be the last and Clay starting a new club does not seem right.

He has way to many demerits against him for attempts on an member of his club, having the wife of one of his members killed and trying to kill the vp wife.

Things that are not allowed in MC world. Or viewed upon as disgraceful

He has to go but it could be next season.

I do think that Tara serves no purpose in terms of staying alive is she wants jax out. Jax would stay if she is gone but now with the hand issue she might just become an old lady at home and jax will run the club

Just one thing> This has been an incredible season and by far the best

I loved The Sopranos, The Shield, and LOST but SOA is quickly making a leap above those shows for the fact that imo we haven't had 1 bad episode or a filler episode yet. Every episode since S1 has had a purpose and moved the storylines forward.

I "thumbed up" your post but I don't rank SOA over The Sopranos, but it is in a close heat with The Shield (IMO).

This season has been off the charts and I really don't see how Clay survives this season.. But also can't see the show without him. That's what makes this show so great because I don't have even a remote idea how this season will wrap, there's just so many things in play.

Gonna assume next week is back to 1 hr but I thought I heard a rumor all the remaining episodes would be 90mins. Anyone know for sure?

all 3 remaining episodes are an hour, but the last 2 were written as 1, but split up cause FX wouldn't allow a 2 hour ep

Sutter has said that like pretty much all other FX dramas, the show is on a 7 season plan.

Yooooo that episode started boring but last 20 minutes was ****. WOW

You saw the look in Jax when Opie shot at clay....Intense

But it looked like he shot him on the other side of the heart and on the edges. Kinda looked like it grazed the sides

But watching preview of following week it seems that he was gunned down
