I'm actually finding the actor playing Manny to be pretty bad at acting. He's just a kid and kids tend to overact - each of the main cast of kids has at some point - but Manny does it most of the time and he just has this way that irritates me.
He did have some great lines in first two seasons. Seems to have less this year. I feel the writers have moved away from his soft poetic side.
