I'm very impressed with this tablet (outside of the fact I think you can only buy it in the US for now).

At a $200 price point with a 7 inch figure, I think this is going to really hurt the sales of the Playbook (which is already pretty low). I wonder if this is going to make Apple come out with a 7 incher and lower their price points.

I'll be buying it, and we've already agreed to sell my soon-to-be eight year old son my Kindle 3G (less than a year old!) for $40!

Love that price, but after using the dev build of Windows 8, it is magic for a tablet, so I think I'll be getting a Win 8 tablet next year.

An FYI for those wanting a more powerful Amazon Tablet.. Rumors, which I'm sure are true, have stated that there is a more powerful Kindle Fire device coming out after the holidays.

I'm sure this one will include the Camera/microphone everyone is looking for, and maybe a bigger screen aka the DX.

I think that's what is so great about this tablet and the price. The price is just right where you don't have to be thinking whether or not you should get the release day model, or wait and get the better more expensive model.


I'm always tempted to get an iPad, but then I get nervous that in 2 months they'll release a new one with better specs.
