Got the same deal, but there was also a $10 "promotion" that was applied when I checked out. I have no idea what it was for but it dropped the price to $19.99.

After missing out on the Amazon 360 deal thanks to their BS "wrong time" thing, I had to go to work so I hired some help and boy did it pay off.

Long story short, I got the 4GB 360 console for $65 + my broken core system. I have a friend who is upgrading to the 320gb hard drive soon, and is going to sell me his 250gb for a good price so I could wind up with a 250gb Xbox 360 for around $100 out of my pocket.

A happy ending to an otherwise dreadful day.

I hit up Dillard's yesterday and snagged 10 Polo's for $15/each. They were giving 50% off of clearance items. It was a very nice haul for me.

Tried to go to Best Buy at 1:00 AM. No dice. Lines were still around the entire building. Went later at 3:00 PM, and snagged Horrible Bosses for $12, and every season of Boy Meets world for $9 each. Also got House Season 6 on Blu-ray for $18, just for the hell of it. I don't ever really buy TV series', but in this case it seemed okay to do since it was so cheap.

Not really much of a huge event this year, but I didn't truly feel like going for too much. I've already shelled out thousands of dollars on HT equipment, and I still need to get a surge protector down the line.

I've had no real luck scoring a nice deal on a 40"(the space in the built in is actually 39") HDTV(1080p)
I saw a Samsung on Newegg for $425 but hesitated until I could check out some online reviews....gone.

It's really a gaming TV for my nephews and family.....so I don't want to go too high end on the price.

If anyone finds any nice deals....shoot 'em to me!

Thank you Amazon! I got Uncharted 3 (29.99), Battlefield 3 (28.00), Assassin's Creed 2 (9.99), Batman: Arkham City (29.99), Cars 2 Blue Ray (16.99), Assorted Blue Rays (4.99ea), and various kitchen things my wife wanted (including a nice coffeemaker marked down 70%). I also snagged a 99$ 4GB Xbox, a cheap laptop, and an external hard drive from newegg for a friend.

I had no big ticket items on my list this year, so it was easy anyway, but Black Friday without having to leave the house was awesome. Only thing left is a 32' HDTV for my parents, but those should stay cheap throughout the year.

Didn't head out until around 4:00pm yesterday afternoon. Got Casino Royale for $1 from Best Buy, and picked up Batman: Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 2, and You Don't Know Jack! (present for the wife) for $40 total through Gamestops B2G1 free sale.

Got a few gifts here and there for the family but nothing major.

so Thursday night me and homeboy went to BEST BUY. he was looking for a tv (which i told him he wouldnt get unless he camped out) and i was there for Uncharted 3 ($30) and some Blu-rays.

we get there at about 10:15pm and line was pretty long

but not totally unbearable.

so finally they start letting people in at 12. we were able to get right in because they just people go right in nonstop. we get in and its a mad house. my homeboy went straight to the tv section while i headed to the game section. picked up Uncharted 3 no problem. i eventually found the 7.99 3 month gold membership card. i was then able to find the Blu-Rays i wanted.

my homeboy didnt get the tv he wanted (24inch Dynex for $79) of course, so that was it for him. he got pissed and went to go sit in the car lol.

so of course my night is done right? nope! had to stand in line for another 2 HOURS to checkout!!! didnt get outta there till 3am!!

boy was i tired in the end. but i did get what i want. all for $71. im a happy camper.

Got Forza 4 for 19.99 plus tax. It was 39.99, but I had a 20 dollar credit when I pre-ordered FIFA 12.
