What is that saying from? I've heard it in a movie before.

I want to say War of The Worlds, but I'm probably way off.

War of the Worlds has a line similar, but I know there is some other alien movie where they say something like "this isn't an invasion, it's an extermination". I couldn't find it though and now it's bugging me too

I heard this is the beginning of a new trilogy from Bay. I thought he tired out from the Transformers films. Guess not.

Bill Paxton says it in Independence Day.

As for Transformers, I'm ready for a Michael Bay-less reboot.

Wrong Bill, I think you're thinking of Bill Pullman. Definitely the right movie though!

Yup, you're right. It's Pullman. Got my Bills mixed up. I think I watched Twister the day I posted that.

Run times have been listed between 157 and 165 minutes. Pretty much like The Dark Knight Rises or Zero Dark Thirty.

Getting killed by reviewers. 17% on RT right now. 7 fresh, 32 rotten. Average rating of 3.8.

I didn't realize just how bad of a director Michael Bay is. His highest rated movie ever on the Tomatometer is 68% which was 'The Rock'. Has only had three movies score 50% or better.

Eh I don't really consider Bay a great director, but I've liked several of the movies he's done even if some have their flaws. Both Bad Boys, The Rock, Armageddon, The Island, First Transformers, and Pain and Gain.

I never pay attention to critics on RT, I mean just look at Bad Boys 2 as it's at 23% with the critics but audience is at 78%.

Wow. It started off with 3 fresh, 0 rotten. I thought it would be a turnaround for sure. Won't stop me from seeing it though.

And Transformers shouldn't have received any less than a 70%. Fantastic movie by him, in my opinion. Definitely a fan of the Bad Boys movies as well, and I was pretty impressed by Pain & Gain.
