It's definitely a weird blend of genres, but I'm still surprised that it was cancelled (or at least not immediately picked back up) . Fox gave it very little advertising, aired episodes out of order, and just generally fought the idea of the show at every turn. Despite all of that, it still gained enough of a following to green light a full budget movie.

It's unfortunate that we didn't have Netflix streaming and Amazon video back then. It seems like the tyoe of show that those entities would live to scoop up and continue.

They just needed to let River do her thing like she does in Serenity. That would have brought a lot of excitement

Watched both seasons of The Umbrella Academy over the past couple weeks. Overall really enjoyed it--definitely got hooked on the main plot and enjoyed all the twists--but definitely some story-lines in the second season that felt completely pointless.

I wish there were more seasons of Supermarket Sweep. I oddly enjoy watching it.

I'm a few episodes into High Score, and it's one of the most well done documentary series I've ever seen. Just finished the EA Sports, Genesis, Madden episode.

Even my wife is enjoying it, and she didn't even play these systems growing up.

I started Cobra Kai up last night as well and after 3 shows I'm also really enjoying. Its been about 20 years since I watched the movies and still I didn't feel lost. If your young I still think you would enjoy the show.

Yeah it is corny but I love it and the nostalgia is amazing. I just love the direction of Johnny, he’s hilarious.

Every time they flashback to Mr. Myagi. Goosebumps.

For those new watching, the show actually uses a few cut and deleted scenes from the og movie which is awesome.

This show has the most unique and refreshing concept. I can't really think of any other show that has done something like this. I cannot wait for season 3.

Got me to thinking about what other 80's or 90's movies that could pull off this format?
