    Surprising.

Absolutely hated the last season. Holding off on the new one.

I just can't stomach the dry Piper storyline anymore.

I've seen three episodes so far and Piper is getting pushed out more and more.

She's still an idiot and I don't think that's ever changing until she gets herself killed or something (that won't happen especially if it's loosely based on reality).

Piper is still the "star" but the series would benefit by letting her go free and focusing on the rest of the inmates.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

She's still annoying, but thankfully she isn't the focus of most of the episodes this season. Having

JACO - Came across this in the recently added section. Documentary on legendary bass jazz/fusion guitarist Jaco Pastorius. Some pretty incredible personal and professional footage. Interesting insights of his involvement with Weather Report and other industry giants. All music fans will like this well constructed piece.

When I stopped watching late in season two she was an afterthought. To parallel that with Wentworth the lead character (Bea) is inspirational, substantial and actually interesting.

I can't give points to a show for having no place to go with their number one person.

I just finished watching the first season of Bloodline. The series was as slow as molasses during the first few episodes, but I became engrossed after that. The performance from Ben Mendelsohn was captivating to say the least.

I'm halfway through season 2 and I am enjoying it as well.

Binge watched Narcos all day yesterday in 4K.

It is well shot, even if some of the items were not fully timeline accurate (the copy/fax machine in the first couple of episodes), and the clothing choices (mainly suits) are way too modern styled.

The acting is good, production quality, etc.. I enjoy how well they cast the people that look similar, so when they show the actual news reports, videos, and pictures, they are close enough to not be jarring.

Just not sure how fully accurate it is, since it seems to be told from the DEA person's perspective, which flirts with the two government's & CIA corruption as well, but does not come out full stop. I have my own reservations as to what was allowed to happen, etc., having grown up in the era.

In Bryon Cranston's upcoming film about going after Pablo Escobar money laundering organization I'm beginning to think Pablo won't be in the film. IMBD still list no actor in that role.

Nice! Didn't realize there was a Narcos thread, I shall browse it soon. Watching the final episode when I get home from work in 15 min.

Started Bloodline. 3 episodes in and I was hooked after the initial 1 and a half, lol. They paced it brilliantly, and how they pieced together all the clues to string you along, etc.. Looking forward to watching a couple more tonight.

Nice seeing all the Bloodline love out there. Great series.

Wife and I loved The Killing Season 1. Watched it about a year ago. Not sure why we didn't continue with Season 2, but last night we started it up again.

I should also continue watching Narco's. Loved the first 3 episodes then we stopped watching.
I think we started watching it when other shows started coming out.
Will have to dive back in this Summer.

The Killing is on my list as well. (Will watch it next more than likely.)

Definitely watch Narcos. You will want Season 2, which thankfully, comes back September 2nd I believe.
