Re: What's good to watch on Netflix

We almost finished the entire 1st season of Bloodline this weekend (got through 12 of 13 episodes). After the input I've read here it looks like Stranger Things will be up next before Rectify. I'm going to try to knock out all of them (Bloodline S2, Stranger Things, and Rectify S1 & S2) before Narcos S2 releases on 9/2.

    Spoiler
    My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

    Alabama Crimson Tide
    Green Bay Packers
    Boston Celtics

    New Orleans Pelicans

Some good watching right there. Bloodline Season 2, so so good.

Seems like Rectify is up next for me before Narcos since the others are done. Stranger Things was watched in 2 nights, lol.

I'm jealous of you all that get to watch the new shows. Am I the only one that watches the same show over and over again because I don't like falling asleep to shows I haven't seen before? I only have time to watch TV in bed and I'm conditioned to fall asleep to The Office or HIMYM. I've seen both shows at least 5 times, think I'm on my 6th or 7th round of The Office.

Nah...I do the same thing. I will watch something in bed and fall asleep watching it. Then go back the next night and try to figure out close to where I fell asleep.

Been on the fence with this one, since the final season of Breaking Bad was 'so so' to me. Felt forced. In fact, the entire show was good, but not 'omg so amazing' to me like everyone raved. Felt very predictable each and every turn.

I was into Sons way more than BB.

                Well, that is original thinking.

A fan of Sons but I lost count of how many times they

I know what you mean, lol. Maybe I was just more into the show, because it had an emotional effect on me, especially the finale, since I lost my father when I was in my early 20's and he was also in a well known MC all his life.

Breaking bad was good, but I did not find it as amazing (like people raved) compared to shows I am even watching currently. I used the comparison because I watched both through binge last summer, and both were out around the same time frame. It could also be a difference of binging versus the hype people had watching when it was airing in real time.

It had it's moments with me, I just felt like I knew what was going to happen more, before it happened.

What's good to watch on Netflix

Breaking Bad is my favorite of the "overrated tv shows." There are some incredible hours of television, yes, but there are also two incredibly boring seasons, and some awful episodes surrounding the good stuff. Cranston was incredible though and the show deserves most of its acclaim but it's not one I'll ever rewatch, like say The Wire.

Also Breaking Bad gave the worst episode in television history. And that's not an opinion.

It actually is an opinion, as it was probably the series most polarizing episode. I hated "The Fly" but some loved it to the point of declaring it their favorite BB episode ever.

EDIT: Apologies Red, if you were referring to another episode.

I've literally never seen anyone on the internet declare it as a good episode, not to mention their favorite. Any examples?

I haven't even thought about BB in awhile but maybe absence makes the heart grow fonder because when I look back now I remember being so invested in those characters.

                              I do agree it's a series I don't see myself re-watching anytime soon.

Same here. I took a class on the show and to start off we did an exercise where we stepped forward if we agreed with the statement and stayed if we disagreed. And one of the statements was the fly was the worst episode in the entire series or something like that and literally everybody except 1 person agreed with that.
