The League is hilarious, I've been laughing like a fool rewatching them. Ruxin is awesome.

Watched it tonight. Not the greatest...a couple of funny moments. 1-1/2 stars.

It wasn't Sandler's best...but it was good. I would give it like 3 stars. There were some funny parts. I thought Swardson was good in his role. Overall I liked it but not in a rush to watch it again. But I'm that way with most movies as well.

I really enjoyed Lady Dynamite starring Maria Bamford. It's a comedy but it's semi-autobiographical and deals with her mental breakdown(s) during her "Crazy Target Lady" era and the aftermath of it.

                    I don't know if it is. Don't have a 4K tv.

No worries. More than likely is, since Netflix seems proactive on all their new content in it. The trailer seemed like it would be a fun little comedy.

The Seventies is real good opening with "Television Gets Real". From 1973-1975 CBS boasted a Saturday night powerhouse of All in the Family at 8pm (ET), followed by M*A*S*H at 8:30, Mary Tyler Moore at 9:00, Bob Newhart at 9:30, and Carol Burnett at 10:00. It was known as "Murderers' Row" as proudly acknowledged by Bob Newhart. Curiously no mentioned of JR or Dallas.

I'm curious how the visual effects will look for a Ghost Rider series.

Dallas didn't start until 1978 and is usually referenced as an 80's show as it reached its peak ratings during the early part of that decade.

Amazing that CBS had that lineup back then. There's no original programming on Saturday nights now and Fridays are a ghost town; back in the day, they were the biggest nights on TV.

Also Dallas was more of a nighttime soap opera while those above shows were ground-breaking with AITF leading the way. Youngsters could relate to the murderer's row shows, but I doubt Dallas appealed to the same target audience. People had seen soap operas but no one saw the like of an Archie Bunker to that point. Plus the combination of comedy and poignancy in that form was just never seen to that date.

Overall "The Seventies" was not quite as well done as "The Sixties", but it was still great to see. Even the opening artistic montage on the latter was better done, I thought.
