    Awesome.

The conflict between the two camps should carry out the rest of the season nicely.

Gonna have to do better than a zombie trojan horse though...

Could someone tell me what happened in the first part of the episode? I started watching right after Axel died.

Not too much action wise. Rick hallucinating and seeing Lori and acting crazy

Glenn wanted to go attack the Governor before he attacked them, but Hershal wanted the group to go.on the run and those two had a bit of an argument.

Daryl and Merle came across a group of people on a bridge fighting off walkers. They helped fight off the walkers and Merle wanted to rob them but Daryl pointed his bow at Merle and made him let the group leave. Then in the woods Daryl said he was going back to the prison and Merle decided to go along although he didn't want to.

        Thats mostly it I think

This was my girlfriend's reaction to the last scene tonight, before the big "conflict". As the inmate was talking to Carol:

Sweet ending, perfect timing for the Dixon bros. Really though/wish there would have been a little more bloodshed at the end, but that played out nicely. I wasn't expecting the Dixons to get back that soon, really though Hershel or Rick were gonna get bit.

I thought that was a pretty deep moment in the woods between Merle and daryl when the scars on daryl's back were revealed. I don't see merle being a problem now outside of simply bein a racist ***hole. I think he's going to genuinely join Rick's camp.

I am completely with you there. I am perplexed at why they are drawing out this drama between Glenn and Maggie when all she had to do was take her shirt off.

Kirkman on talking dead explained that the issue was this... as a guy Glenn made the whole thing about himself, that he was mad at the Governor and wanted to get revenge - making it about him - when Maggie was the true victim and she was feeling like Glenn had no right to be so upset over the situation because it was her that was 'violated'.

Kirkman's explanation just has too much going on, I wouldn't have put that much thought into trying to figure out the dynamic so I am glad he could explain it some...

Nevertheless though... he wouldn't have had to explain if perhaps they would've made that scene a little more sinister... they didn't even have to show anything going down, they could've just primed it by Maggie taking off her shirt, and then panned to Glenn while he hears Maggie screaming or something.

but yea...the Glenn/Maggie drama is over-done and stupid at this point.

So who fist pumped when Daryl burst into save Rick, when that crossbow bolt went through the zombies head? C'mon, c'mon, who was there w/ me.

After that scene I'm convinced he's not a plant by the Governor. I still don't fully trust him not to sell out to back in Gov's good graces at some point though.

I also want to know where Tyrese and his group went. I can't believe they are just gone from the show now. Do they end up in Woodbury? Or did Glenn (who exited with them at the end of last episode hide them away somewhere in the prison until Rick cooled down?

That trunk door kill was CRUCIAL! Daryl the GOAT.

**** got SO REAL at the end!

R.I.P. Axel though. Dude got laid with bullets. Was pretty gruesome seeing him get lit up as Carol took cover behind his body, TBH.

                            Kirkman didn't say that though.

The actor and host made that assumption. When they asked Kirkman if they had it right, he said: "Ehh..."

Which makes me believe there's something deeper going on. Unless that was his way of saying yes? I don't watch Talking Dead enough to know how he reacts normally.
