I love watching Kim put on a clinic on how to play Survivor. At this point, I think she's the closest player I've ever seen on the show that is playing how I would play the game if I was on the Island (I would try to be a lot more entertaining/snarky in the confessionals though).

No, the other players are definitely just dumb as rocks..
These past few seasons have been horrible in terms of contestants. It's like they picked players that have never watched the show! They don't know how to gameplan. They feel that once an alliance is formed, they are pretty much next to go, so instead of speaking up, they run away and hope that they get voted off last and not first.
I sure hope they do an All-Star Survivor next season.
Colton was the only player this season that was worthy of winning the million dollars and of course he had to leave because of a medical injury..
Just remember, if Jay was half as smart as a rock, he would of believed Troyzan, and voted off Kim. Yet he's so stupid that he voted off Alicia?!?
The episode before this past one, Jay was the one that kept saying, we need to vote a girl, we need to vote a girl.. and what does he do? He votes a girl that has no way of being voted out because he's too pompous to change his vote to Kim.
It's like these contestants are only picked because of their looks and their crazy personalities.Comment

I'm on the side that says Kim is making these other players look like idiots. The key point of the game was after the merge. Kim fooled the guys on her pre-merged tribe that they were in a alliance and got Jonas booted. She has manipulated everybody that is standing in her way of winning the one million dollars.
I do worry that we will get a bitter jury though. My worst fear is the jury members not voting for Kim because she lied right to their faces.Comment

2. Sabrina
3. Chelsea
4. Troy
5. Alicia
6. Kat
7. Christina
8. Tarzan
9. Lief
And I don't necessarily think this has been a bad cast. I just think some of the better players have been sent packing already. I think if you replace the 3 guys still around with Colton, Mike, and Jonas and switch Christina and Monica you'd have a pretty solid final 9.Comment

Jay also didn't want to break his alliance with Kim and the girls because he wanted to trust them and they held the numbers.
This week, Jay didn't sense a vibe that the girls were after the guys. (Troyzan on the other hand, noticed his alliance applauding when he was eliminated from the challenge and Kim told Troyzan not to worry too much.)
Troyzan told Jay about his idol and his paranoia of Kim moments before tribal council giving Jay very little time to digest what Troyzan said. (Jay didn't feel worried when he spoke with Troyzan, but by the time they arrived at tribal council he admitted he was concerned about possibly being voted off.)
Troyzan tried to convince Christina and Tarzan to vote off Kim and they both voted for Jay instead. So even if Jay voted for Kim, the plan could have failed and Jay might have thought about the failure of voting off Kim would lead to him being kicked out of the alliance and it would paint a huge target on his back.
Plus, The idea of putting your vote for someone like Kim is something you really need to think about because she's not just a petty player like Alicia and has the power to vote you off if she's aware you're gunning for her.Comment

Troyzan pretty much needs to win immunity every week. And even if he gets to the end all that gloating and badmouthing isn't going to do him any favors when it comes to votes.Comment

He is waaaaay more of a mess than Phillip Sheppard...he could at least follow Rob's "Plans"...
I would have loved to see Kim get picked off last night...
Yeah, she's the best player, but the smugness of her posse was / is getting to me, like it's gotten to Troyzan...

Tarzan is supposedly a plastic surgeon...
Yet he was prepared to hoard his 5 hundo "Survivor Auction Dollars" to put brake linings on some Jeep he owns back home that's been neglected for months, due to lack of repair funds...
