And Kat/Sabrina both admitted exactly what's wrong with the survivor jury system. Both of them said that they'd both for sure be voting for who they liked the best,and not who deserves to win the game, even if the person they don't like played the best game of the season.

By the looks of it, wonder who Kat will blame the most for being voted out. I'm guessing she'll blame Kim since she's the one who controls everyone(and she didn't let Kat win immunity)

Could NOT agree more with this. I hate that part of the game. It really is becoming "Most likeable person" wins. The backstabbing/sneaky strategy that is awesome is completely worthless.

Supposedly, from what people are saying is happening at Ponderosa, majority of people hate Kim for what she's doing(aka,playing the game of Survivor....). So I think it makes even more sense with what I said about twitter. She's not getting it, cause she prob lost. At the last tribal, notice how she's basically looking at the jury for the majority of the time, cause she's seeing the jurys reaction to everyones answers and knows that this jury will be voting based on who they like(which is why she's taking Alicia and either Tarzan or Christina with her to the end. Cause there's no logical answer as to why you'd vote for either of them in the finals)

Same situation as Russell when he went up against the most bitter jury in the history of survivor(the first time on samoa) where he KNEW he lost, and created a website (russellgotscrewed.com) before the finale even aired cause he knew the jury was bitter and that he lost. Even Jeff Probst admitted that the jury didn't vote for the other person to win, they just voted AGAINST Russell.

If they changed the voting what is the best way to change it?

First thing is to make it a normal 2 person finals with 7 person jury again.

The 9th member of the jury was only part of the merged tribe for like 2-3 days, so all they'll know about half the players is what others(who are bitter) will tell them.

Don't know how they'd be able to fix the survivor jury though. Maybe allow fans to vote too for the best player in the finals?(So maybe each person in the 7 person jury gets 10% say in the winner,and the remaining 30% will be from the fans voting?)


If Kim loses despite making it to the final tribal counsel, then this would really be the 2nd worst jury in the history of survivor(don't think any jury would ever come close to being as worse as in samoa)

This is pretty much the worst idea ever. We get to see 42 minutes out of every 72 hours. And the footage we do see is always cut in very manipulative ways. The sheep will vote for whoever the producers want them to.

You're clearly proof that people don't deserve a vote if you think Russell deserved to win either time. His whole strategy from the very beginning was as stupid as possible. Hey lets screw my own team over and put them at a huge disadvantage so I have to act like the biggest POS on the entire planet just to make it to the end. BRILLIANT!.......if you're playing for second place.

The fan voting idea was just me taking an idea that Russell suggested at the reunion show many times before lol.


Don't really see how it's possible to get a jury that'll vote honestly though. Maybe just cast better people who are actually big fans of survivor and not just people who started watching 2-3 seasons ago.

That's the thing though. Winning survivor shouldn't be just about getting in good with a jury.

What would you say if Christina ended up winning this season over Kim and Chelsea, just cause the jury liked Christina more? Do you think she'd actually deserve to win?

Survivors "Outwit,outlast,outplay" motto is basically useless when it comes to the jury.

I'm intrigued by the 70% to 30% voting but they'll never allow America to vote.

Unfortunately the system is broken and maybe unfixable. I almost just want Probst to pick the winner each season

I'm with you, I don't want the fans involved at all. BUT I do feel like the backstabbing strategy (outwit) shouldn't be punished like it has been. Especially since Russel got screwed.

I agree that a bitter jury is tough to go against, but that's part of the game. If you purposely piss people off, lie to them, etc. and do it with no tact at all. Then your social game (which is a major part of Survivor) sucks and maybe you don't deserve to win the game.

I agree that a bitter jury is tough to go against, but that's part of the game. If you purposely piss people off, lie to them, etc. and do it with no tact at all. Then your social game (which is a major part of Survivor) sucks and maybe you don't deserve to win the game.

Exactly. That jury sucked too. Not voting for Russell cause of how he played, and by association, Parv didn't win either cause of that reason.
