That had to be the worst ending I've seen in a while lol.That movie for me was an 5/10. Didn't provide enough background information, and the action scenes were OK at best. Definitely won't be watching it a second time

I liked the pacing and the overall feel but....

the timing of the ending. Way too abrupt. If you weren't keeping a watch of movie time, the final chase scene didn't feel like an "end of the movie" moment. They get on the boat and the credits start rolling.

Everyone in the theater stayed in their seat as if we were collectively all wondering "Is that it?"

Just saw it today.

This was my exact reaction.

I agree the movie felt like a Bourne movie but the lack of an ending was too much. Had it had a better ending I would give it a 7/10 but it didn't. I would watch the movie again but only when I knew a sequel was coming out so that the ending didn't leave me hanging so much.

To go further with the franchise I think they have to have Cross and Bourne together.

Easily the worst of the Bourne films, and one of the worst movie plots in recent memory IMO.

Did I miss something, or did the plot basically boil down to Cross having to get more pills or else he'd go back to his 'not good enough to get into the Army' IQ?

It is such a shame that this film doesn't really start taking off till the second half. The first 45 minutes were driving me nuts on how slow paced things were moving trying to explain the story. It doesn't help that a lot of the suspense from the first 3 films is missing here. If there is a Bourne 5, I'm hoping that Universal has learned from the mistake with this film because Renner is entertaining actor.

I don't know if you call that an ending. I was waiting for Bourne to come out, or at least a teaser so we know if Cross will meet with him in the future. I was entertained since I love the Bourne series but definitely the worst one and I'm a big Renner fan too.

BTW, the ending scene is where I'll be moving to, to setup the hotel. I haven't seen it in person since I was a kid but man what a view they had entering the islands. I wished they actually did an actual scene there to see the real beauty of the place.
