it's annoying they let the guy on the show in the first place, but to make sure he made the first cut? just ugh

            Re: The Bachelor

My working theory is that there are two cuts. The producers get to keep X people, and then the bachelor/bachelorette get to cut from the remaining list. It's a perfect way to manipulate the season.

Keeping the whaaabooom guy just gets the rest of the guys worked up. And seriously, the one guy that wants to keep ragging on whaaboom guy is worse than the whaaaboom guy. It's bad enough that you still get people using the phrase, "for the right reasons," but this doesn't even fall into that territory.

If a guy acts one way around the bachelorette and another way when she is not around, a guy can make an argument that he wants to protect her, even though the protector guys are always some of the worst dudes on the show. But in this case, whaaboooom guy is clearly consistent. If she wants him, it's on her. And wasting time on bashing the guy just makes you look pathetic.

We need the tiny marine back!

Tiny marine loses out again, poor guy.

What's up with Dean? All he does is smile, giggle, and mess with his hair (HS girls everywhere just soaked themselves), other than that, what does he offer that makes the girls want him? He's lucky to have a girl like Kristina interested in him, but she's not good enough I guess

                Re: The Bachelor

That was a weird *** episode, wasn't it. Tiny Marine just can't get out of his own creepy way. He could have coasted his way into another week, but seems incapable of taking a hint. By the time he he burned his bridge with Amanda, there is no way another woman was going to give a pity rose to a dude that was just going to annoy more women.

And yeah, Dean is a freaking mess. He probably needs some serious counseling, because it seems like the issues he has with his mother's death and how that broke down his family is still messing with his ability to connect with people. I told my wife, though, I'm sure there is an army of women out there ready to baby his way through this. But finding love on a TV show is pretty much the opposite of what he needs.

Overall, it seems like the selection of guys this season BIP is pretty abysmal. Lots of self-centered dudes that seem clueless about how shallow they are coming off. I'm surprised every episode is not just all of the women at the bar flirting with Wells!

Also, what do you think of how they handled the Corrine/Demario incident? At one point, it felt like the kind of discussion one would have with college freshmen. These are adults, and Chris Harrison had to have the sit down about consent with them? And it was weird that they all pretty much agreed that race was the prime reason Demario got called out, and then just dropped the topic. I guess the ABC did the minimum to excuse themselves for continued gate season?

                  Re: The Bachelor

I was underwhelmed by the Corinne/DeMario explanation. I hadn't read anything about it, I was thinking the show would inform me so I somewhat wanted to come in fresh, but they didn't really fill me in except saying a producer complained about them in the pool. The sit down with everyone was strange and felt like Chris just needed to do it for the sake of doing it, and then we'd move on with the show. But to keep bringing it up, and having DeMario do a sit down interview and one with Corinne next week is too much for me, but I don't really want to see the wedding recaps either haha, I'd be good if they cut it down to an hour show instead of the extra content
