Great symbolism with Beach Boys "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times" playing during the LSD trip.

Also, I hope this means we're seeing more of Bert Cooper taking an active role. "This IS my business" was such an awesome line.

Well, Don may not be drinking and smoking 24/7, but he is still acting like a little self-centered bitch. Hopefully somebody will put him in his place and bring him back down to Earth.

I'm just not sure there is a happy ending for Don Draper.

If your name is Don Draper, you get to stay at Howard Johnson's for free.

When Sally came out with the dress, I was all "Aww, she's growing up before our eyes!"

Then when she opened that door, well, she just grew up with her own eyes.

That episode went by really fast I thought.

Roger was on fire that episode. Everything he said was pure comic gold.

I can't help but notice that since the Sally character was born in the mid 50's, she'd hit adulthood in the mid 70's...

My guess is that due to her poor "modeling" (parents / adults in her sphere of influence) and her organic "darkness" HER 70's (and 80's, most likely) was one decadent decade (or two)...

Now THAT would be some "destination TV" right , there...IMHO...

Roger was pretty much the only character in that episode to end up happier than what he had anticipated by the end.

That would be interesting to explore, but the 80's probably wouldn't be as fun as the 60's and 70's.

Outside of SCDP, I find Sally to be the most interesting character to follow. Just lots of ways her story could go that would probably be never explored because of seasonal constraints.

I dunno, Don and Megan seemed really happy at the end.

Megan was unhappy after her conversation with her father. Possibly upset because she realized he's right and advertising isn't in her dreams (she wasn't as happy as she thought she would be over her success with Heinz).

Don was unhappy because Ray Wise told him how the Cancer Society really felt about his ad. (bit the hand that feeds him, won't give him their personal business)

I mistook the part after Heinz for the ending.

Since I'm only a handful of years younger than her character, trust me...I have a pretty good idea of how she would have likely reacted to the most decadent era in American History (post pill / pre AIDS)...

You're right, post 1985, not so much...but her twenties would hit around 1975-1985...and those were some provocative times, indeed!
